  1. with the 3.1's? I thought that was the 3.4's... Hmmm.. Would a bad injector cause pretty bad idle?
  2. Due for a change...another 800 miles or so.... I'm just worried about the rough idle...when it was warmer..it got pretty bad. I've tried replacing a few things, just haven't been able to get rid of that bad idle... A smooth running beater is a happy beater...
  3. Sweet! I wish I could find a Celebrity around here as a beater...I really liked those, maybe because I grew up around a few... And they run forever... The few I found already were on the way to be crushed..or just simply beyond repair...
  4. I'm wondering if it is a air/ fuel mixture...that could explain some stuff..and it's on and off again gas milage.... My only guesses at the moment would be a bad hose, or a sensor (EGR).. The EGR has been cleaned, but then again it is 13 years old with well over a 100k on it.. THe MAP sensor was replaced about 7 months ago....
  5. I'm afraid when it stops starting, it may stop running too...
  6. Nah. That part is good. It got a tune up about 9 months back....
  7. No. 93 3.1 FI Maybe, would that have an effect of sensors like that?
  8. I've noticed the wagon has been sluggish lately, and running pretty rough. But since it has starting getting colder the last few days, it somehow seems to run better... The idle isn't as rough, a bit more pick up (not much) and pretty much stays that way even after running for a while. It weird that it is affected by weather... Could it be a sensor? Everything else Haven't checked all hoses yet, though) I've been betting on the EGR... What do you guys think? Ask me anything....
  9. Snow isn't here...yet. lots of rain though.
  10. In those first pics, it's ugly. In the second pics, it looks much better. Compared to the old photos of it-I think I'm starting to like it... lLike the dash layout too...
  11. Pantara..that's fun to listen to at 6 am... As far as that music...I liked all different types... though I don't always remember the names...

    Pictures!

I'm going to have to upload a photo one of these days.... Prob scare the heck out of you guys though....
  13. Not a bad idea.. I have a feeling there are going to be some copycats soon anyways...
  14. Ah, the new SS is growing on me though...
  15. Oh well, that's too bad... If if it's not that-it could be something else...you can't please everyone all the time, no matter what you do. I can't believe people are going to make a big deal out of it... As long as GM offers some options, then they have done what they can. It's just like the guy with the 10 year old Dell computer who going to be real pissed that he can't upgrade to windows vista...You gotta change with the Tech... It's the new way of life... I think Onstar is pretty pointless, unless you do a heck of a lot of driving.. My buddy who was killed by a drunk driver had Onstar...and you see what good it did him... Onstar only really works with a small part of the population...
  16. Agreed. Offering choices would be a smart idea. They might be surprised how many will pick it up, even if they have to pay for it...
  17. In small cars it makes more sense...Cobalt, maybe?
  18. Lose the wheels and the cladding on the SS..and its quite hot.
  19. Nah, it's news.... Just not what we thought...
  20. I've seen that car before. Actually, a few times. Guys-it is NOT an 08....but an 06... Though it is a mule...an actual V mule...testing for the "Future" model. It has a lot of "mashed" parts on it.... How do I know this, you ask? It's been parked at D-ham more than a few times.... And seen at its home plant too..and at the tech center...... This car gets around...
  21. Not sure I could do it. I think it would be better to just cut back, rather than go "lean". You could keep the few you love to drive, and sell the rest... Then Add again when you feel the urge... Project cars( or cars in general) come and go... You just never know what you are going to own....
  22. Much more fun to drive too..trust me on that. :AH-HA_wink:
