The Escalade is big, brutish, and brash... which is why it's so popular. I cannot fathom a Lambda based Escalade ever matching up to the current version in terms of looks, and aura. A GL competitor for Caddy would be cool, though; although I'm not sure the Escalade name would be a great idea for it.

My Dad still bitches at me occasionally about the time I was about 3-4, and I grabbed one of his screwdrivers out of an open toolbox and proceeded to partially dissemble his exercise bike. And then there was that time I took a novelty jumbo-sized magnet and discovered I could make cool rainbow colours on the TV screen with it. Good times.

Except for the G8, and its ST, Pontiac has nothing of interest for me currently; and save for the GTO of the few years past, nothing they've made for years has interested me. Still, I'd be upset if Pontiac was shut down, mostly because if GM had their wits about them years ago, Pontiac could have been something really special, instead of being reduced to rebadging Cobalt's and Aveo's. -

I'm pricing out a G5 Apple, and it's hilarious. FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS for 4GB of DDR2! An extra 'superdrive' costs $100, while I can buy one for my PC for under 20... Woweee! I can have FOUR ATI 2600 XT's!
