Spied: Dodge JC49
I think they'll be going on price on this one. Chrysler can't compete on the interior department, (and I doubt they'll match the Lambda's 275 HP) so I think they're being smart and going for the cheaper price with plenty of utility built in.

Letter to GM from Edmonds.com president
Weird. I see plenty of Asian people drive Cobalt SS's and (Neon) SRT-4's. Hell, just yesterday some guy in a 1969 Camaro pulled up at my work, and he's from Taiwan. ... As for this, 'letter,' I doubt this sort of thing occurred. The Pilot will be a very good vehicle. However, I'm sure Honda raised it's eyebrows when the Lambda's debuted, and realized it was in for some competition.

GM May Sell Allison Transmission
It seems kind of dumb, just because the Duramax/Allison combo is such a powerpack.

Special Camaro/GM event Philly auto show
Man, if I lived in that area, I'd have signed already. Food... Camaro's... Jon Bon Jovi... and all out awesomeness!

Eau de Rubber...
I find it VERY strange that the thought of a scented tire crossed some engineers mind.

Eau de Rubber...
I can't wait until they introduce "dough frying' scent!

Eau de Rubber...
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=119336 RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — Get ready to burn some lavender. In one of the stranger tech stories of the year, Kumho Tire USA says it has developed the world's first scented tire. The tire is targeted at female buyers who drive such vehicles as the Chrysler Sebring, Ford Taurus, Honda Accord, Subaru Outback and Toyota Camry, the company said. The punsters at Kumho say the aromatic tire is the "fruition" of more than a year's worth of research and development to deliver "an alluring aroma tire that replaces the normal 'black rubber' smell with heat-resistant oils in the scent of lavender, and in later versions, neroli [orange] and jasmine." The lavender-smelling ESCTA DX tire will be sold through Discount Tire outlets and TireRack.com in three sizes and priced from $119-$138. What this means to you: The possibilities are endless. We can't wait to burn chocolate.

Toyota’s ultra-low-cost car threatens ‘big three’
Looking at this again, I think most people would realize they'd be better served with a used Civic.

98,000 Chevy Cobalt sedans Recalled
Aw, Dammit. Still... it only applies to those who don't wear seatbelts. They should have kept it under wraps... it would have been a great way to speed up natural selection.

What goes around comes around...
Maybe email them up and tell them. You never know, they might ask for more pictures! You'd be doing people in another part of the world a favour.

I had an interior drawn up for mine. But I don't think I'll post it.

Toyota’s ultra-low-cost car threatens ‘big three’
Plenty of people would have a crappy, new car... because, it's 'new.' A used car doesn't have that new car smell, and I guess people will crave that. This is good for other parts of the world... but I doubt it'll do well in North America, simply because Yaris' and Scions plus vehicles like the Aveo, etc. are already pretty cheap. If you can't afford small vehicles like the Aveo or Yaris already or used ones, how the hell will you be able to afford the price of gas and insurance?

Fullsize P/U Comparison: Toyota vs. Chevy vs. Nissan
So... Toyota won... http://www3.telus.net/sjdj/big%20whoop.wmv GM needs to get those six-speeds in fast. At the same time however... this test is comparing the high end models. I'd pay more attention to the test that compares the models with the midline V8's (Toyota's 4.7L vs. GM's 5.3) because that will be the segment that matters.

Speaking of creepy ad spokesmen...
He's got his own Wikipedia page? It's kinda lame. Perhaps one of our good members ought to edit it.

P-Mate
They have those squat toilets throughout parts of Europe, especially Italy. I was there for two months, and I literally didn't take a number two for that same amount of time. Oh wait. I did once... in France... at Mont St. Michel... but that was more or less for political reasons.

Compass
The head-on shots of the vehicle make me laugh my ass off, even without chipmunks as a comparison... not good...

Compass
I almost pissed my pants laughing when I saw the title of the thread, "Compass" and then the word below the title, "Confused." Confused has to be THE perfect word to describe the Compass.

Looking Through The Local Trade...
Heh. In my paper, were two Camaro's. One 1968 with a rebuilt V8 for $3500, and a 1969 with a dropped in 454 for $5000. I'd love either one, and could afford the initial costs... ...but realistically, I'd enjoy just leasing the new Camaro... or perhaps a two year old Mustang. :AH-HA_wink:

Happy Birthday!

Chrysler to Increase SRT-8 to 500+ HP
Viper platform vehicle? Does this just mean the Viper redesign? Or is there something 'else' that may be on its way. :AH-HA_wink:
