My province has just instituted a massive Global Warming/Climate Change plan which will cut emissions below levels that were called for in the Kyoto Accord. Although specifics are not out just yet, word is that it may come to penalizing certain types of vehicles, and even hint toward displacement tariffs. The new Camaro will likely be on the sh*t list, so I'm getting a little worried. I might have to settle for a used Mustang GT, because of this insanity.

Awesome read! I'm looking forward to some of this stuff making it into vehicles in the future.

My beef with the Sport Trac is that the box is near useless, but that's just me. I'd spring for the Frontier, because it's very capable, powerful, and has great looks to boot. Runner up would be the Tacoma, if only because the GM twins and the Durango aren't too great. I drive a '90 Sierra, and for some reason, my 17 year old truck feels more substantial than the new Colorado/Canyon twins.

As long as the playlist has Cinderella's 'Gypsy Road', Def Leppard's 'Rocket' and David Lee Roth's 'Ladies Night in Buffalo' in it, I'm set. Edit: It also needs 'The Touch' by Stan Bush! Rock out to one of the theme songs from the Transformers movie!
