Well judging by their past performance, I'd say they'd be selling Ramblers that would make GM's W-Bodies look thoroughly modern. Oh, and some Chinese conglomerate would buy it out because Pacer's and Gremlins would likely have a huge cult following in China.

So has a province in my country. However, enforcing that law is almost impossible as the media has shown, and from what I understand, it exempts those who use bluetooth headsets and similar doo-dads, which still distract drivers.

My position on driving with cell phones does not come from studies or media, but just from experience. I have had close encounters with a few people, and they were on the phone. At the same time, I made the stupid decision of using a friends cell when I was driving and almost hit a poor guy who was jay walking; sure it's illegal, but I'd still be at fault. I'm not a bad driver, but I am distracted by using a cell, and therefore refuse to use one while driving. Ditto with my iPod, I throw it on shuffle until my trucks engine has turned off. Personally, I'd prefer it if people just pulled over to use their cell, but they are the ones to make that judgment call.

I don't own a cellphone, cause I'm old school. Whenever I need one, I can just mooch off of someone else, or use a pay phone. I'll get a cell phone when I think I actually need one. I see too many 10 year old girls on their phone, asking, "What are you thinking?" and too many 19 year old dudes saying, "So, like... Pizza?... I dunno, pizza's good... Domino's is alright... Pizza Hut is okay too... Domino's is cool though... oh what? You don't want pizza?... Oh sorry, I thought you said you don't want pizza... pizza's cool... Pizza Hut is cool, but so is Domino's..."

I too avoid Esso (Canadian Exxon) because they are morons, and it seems that they are the ONLY oil company that denies that climate change is upon us, and is willing to pay "professors" to spread that denial in the media. Their fuel, at least up here, is also loaded with impurities, so I'll vote with my dollar at other stations. I wish we had Irving Oil in my part of the country... some of the cleanest fuel, and it's a Canadian company... As for Chavez, he's thorn in everybody's ass. Cozying up to Iran is not exactly smart, and he would be better served if he maybe spent less time criticizing North America and more time actually lifting his people out of poverty.

'bout damn time. But I wonder if diesel will win over people? From what I have come to realize, is that many people I have spoken to, see Hybrids as the one way, and only way, to reduce emissions. Time will tell.
