Hmm, let's see.... 350 (x3) 425 (x3) 429 (x2) 460 472 (x2) .... for a grand total of 5,012 cubic inches, and that's not counting all the vehicles with "normal" sized engines I've owned.

Yeah, okay. The country that built an aircraft carrier too short to land a plane on is the country we're supposed to turn to for an engineering miracle when the fate of the entire planet and every living thing on it is at stake? If that's the case then I'll just keep driving the vehicles I like with 400+ cubic inch engines because we're all f@#ked anyways!

Well then what the hell possessed THEM to search for that on youtube?! I want answers!
-
I was pretty excited when I watched one get t-boned HARD in the season finale of Nip/Tuck the other night; I couldn't think of a better use for a Prius.
-
This is about 0.09% less gay than the original Village People version; what on earth possessed you to go to youtube and type "ymca village people finland mustache gay" into the search box?
-
Then let it flake and look like $h!; the more, the better. That way it becomes even more embarassing when you blow the doors off the person next to you.

Happy Birthday, meng!

Does the company that makes the stuff still offer the scholarship to the couple that makes the best high school senior prom tux and dress out of Duct Tape? Some of the entries I saw a few years back were awesome; it's amazing what you can do with it.

...... and burned to death inside of it on the side of the highway after the car had an electrical fire; lets hope not! Buying a British automobile AND dying in a car fire is too much horror for one young man and his family to have to go through. He probably bought one of those super platinum memberships to a porn site that includes access to 20 other sites for one low price and forgot we existed. He'll be back when his mom's hand lotion runs out, don't worry. Y'know, Fly, it's not as fun making fun of you when you're not here to defend yourself; stop by and at least say hi once in a while

She's cute; go for it! But if she starts playing games again, hit it and quit it.

Buy it and break the cycle!

Sixty8: Your Special has already been to the body shop, been painted, put back together, and is back on craigslist: http://nh.craigslist.org/car/580766044.html Guy didn't waste any time, did he?!

Guess she's gonna have to be pissed for a few weeks then because 40 bucks for that is the deal of a lifetime any way you slice it. Good job!

alllllllriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

Why an '87? Is it the look, or is there something else about it? Do you like the older ones? Might I suggest going, say, ten years older or so? That way you can start with the engine you want (a real Oldsmobile 350) and its age means you would be able to register it as an antique/classic and get a bigger break on insurance, since that's one of your concerns as well.

Leaving the movie theater about twenty minutes ago with the girl, we saw a riced out Saturn SL with four dorky high school kids in it t-bone a Scion xB and crease the whole side in from front to back; it was awesome!

Update of cars owned (43 as I can remember)

Agreed. If there's one car I'd buy as a toy/driver/project to sidetrack me from my Eldorado and other things, it would be a nice '71-'72 Riviera. Even the '73's are beginning to grow on me. Hopefully in a few years I'll be able to spend around 5K on a nice solid turn-key one that maybe just needs some cosmetic help. -
It's too bad nobody around here breeds first series Chevrolet trucks like this guy apparently does; I wish I had the space to get something like that going.....
-
Agreed. When I was a kid, there was an old lady right around the corner from me that still daily drove a 1966 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight convertible; it must have been the last new car she ever owned. It was maroon with a black top and a black interior. What an amazing car that was; it was the only car us kids never minded stopping a baseball or street hockey game for as it was a treat to watch the old lady maneuver that big dinosaur down the street. There's another old lady in the neighborhood now that still drives a 1971 Pontiac Catalina sedan every day. Not nearly as exciting as that big Oldsmobile was, but still a thousand times cooler than any new vehicle on the road today.

A beautiful black on black two-door Tahoe with BARN DOORS; it was the closest I've ever come to carjacking somebody!

When and if I ever own a Duesenberg, I will probably wax the underbody at least once. World-class automobiles deserve world-class attention. A Chevy truck can survive without it.
-
It doesn't get much better than driving a nice solid straight tight quiet barn door square 'Burb with all the creature comforts of the Cadillac (except for eight-track, unfortunately ). Let's just hope Sixty8 actually gives the thing what it needs for a change instead of driving it till it blows up like he did with his '59 Buick and '64 Oldsmobile. Godspeed, mighty banana!

Sixty8: the Cadillac you posted is unfortunately bull$h!. I e-mailed him about ten minutes after he posted that ad and the asshole sends you a link to the car's eBay auction. Reserve is only $5999 for another cobbled-together New England $h!box Cadillac with rust bubbles coming through the $h!ty respray everywhere. The Pontiac has been up for weeks and yet I still click on the ad every time it is reposted knowing full well what I am about to see because it's beautiful. Did you see the '60 Bonneville 4 door hardtop on craigslist central Massachusetts by any chance? Short money for an awesome car with some funky colors. Gotta love the tri-tone interior. The Packard, however, has escaped me until now because every around here is an ignorant slapdick that's too busy fighting over Model A Ford parts or trying to sell Maaco-resprayed late 70's garbage with only 180,000 gentle original miles for the low low price of $4500 to have ever even considered owning one; as a result, it is not a make I search hardly at all even though I should because my father owns two of them. Keep your eyes peeled for a 1940 junior and senior parts car for us (or even someone with a box of parts for that matter)! smallchevy: buy the Z06!
