  1. vomit (...now tell me how you really feel )
  2. Nevada (the only U.S. state in which they are legal - bring your "raincoat"!)
  3. Favorites of this genre: 75-77 Cutlass Supreme coupe However, of the sedans: I would have to say 75 GrandVille Brougham These were nice boulevardiers
  4. jazz club
  5. The Bronx
  6. Right! Whether or not it was a hybrid, a new Fusion was next to me for a while I was driving on a major boulevard here. What a great looking car and what a sensible arrangement. This model, together with the new Taurus, are competitors for the new Volt, partly because the Fusion and the Taurus are proven perfomers. People will have a lot of questions about the viability of the Volt. However, I hope it does well. Damn, the auto world is so Darwinian.
  7. New York (the rose is their state flower)
  8. East Side, baby, East Side. The ONLY side of Seattle to live in, if one's gonna live there. City central - weird City south - ghetto and white trash City north - someone that Heart would sing about East Side - normal people City west - well, it's water, so you'd be lunch for a killer whale
  9. My next purchase will be something like that. With such a recent purchase, I'll enjoy that for a while before buying an "alternative energy" type of car. It will be interesting.
  10. bon appetit
  11. Mount Everest
  12. pseudonym
  13. Queen Mary 2 *predictable answer*
  14. Right, but I think that someone so unassuming will never let it go her head. Another example of that, from what I've read, is Louie Armstrong. He was a great human being.
  15. You don't have to be over ANY age to think this whole thing is amazing. Amazing. Even a 20 y.o. can understand that this lady, like Andrea Bocelli, has one of those "one in a hundred million" voices. I don't watch TV much. But a person in my office told was talking about what happened on "Britain's Got Talent," so I checked it out on YouTube. It was like David slinging at Goliath and winning! She's odd all right, but she's so damn comfortable in her own skin. And a voice that's in the stratosphere. I'm hoping she goes all the way. Have you been following this? Link to YouTube
  16. Memory lane. What a grille. I loved my '84 Cutlass Brougham coupe ... wherever she may be now.
  17. pool shark
  18. Ditto on the warm pool, cube...I like a warm pool, like you might have in the desert on a summer's evening, but hate hot temperatures. Anything over 95, dry or otherwise, annoys me. We're mid- to high-80s at the moment. However, I can't get a damn day off right now to go up to "the Lake" or anywhere else to decompress, so I'm fairly pissed.
  19. B.O. (body odor)
  20. What about prostitution? The 1040 moniker could be "exercise coach, sperm bank operator, mattress tester..." - a few others It's an occupation but, for some, it might even be a hobby...using the logic: "do what you love, the money will come"
  21. Or from looking at the credits at the end of a movie? But, still, you get the idea... Funny @ the last comment...believe it or not, the stereotypes are fairly similar, with my relatives making smirky comments about male interior designers... My attitude -- it's how YOU have to spend YOUR work day ... nobody needs to choose that for you.
