Was at the end of an off ramp waiting for teh rotary to clean ro I go go. Some dumbass in a Ryder moving truck (the big ones) "didn't see me" and ran into the car. I can still remember looking left to wait for traffic clear, and seeing a truck coming way too quickly in the the side mirro and thinking "oh, that's way too fast..." BAM! They totaled the car, but I fogught the insurance company for two months (while they paid for my Cobalt rental) and got what I wanted for it, and used the money to fix the car. managed to get body panels of the same color from teh junkyard, so even though it hasn't been painted yet, it's not too noticeable. Also, my family has bad luck with accidents...not nearly as bad as BV's, but bad.

I think the Intrepid idles around 800-1,000 rpm cold start, 600 when warmed up. The Shadow has a fast idle...1,000 rpm...one of those things that need to be tweaked.

I go to the article and it's about Pontiac, it's history, and the dreams it left behind.' There's some beautiful photography and Illustrations that any fan of cars, especially Pontiac should check out. ...and as a bittersweet treat for those of you upset by the brand's passing, you'll be glad to know that this is one of those rare articles that doesn't bash the brand. I will agree that their nitpicking is silly/stupid. Where's the mention of the M5 looking like a horse's ass? Or interior design that looks like any BMW from the 90's?
