"I don't much care for..."
People who go to the bank drive-thru and like...set an account up or something that takes equally long and pisses off those of us who would take all of 2 minutes to just have them deposit a check.

A legend speaks
And that's all that really needs to be said. I agree 110% with everything he said.

May I have a 6-speed?
This last week I saw 3 XKs, all convertibles, all different colors...light blue, silver, a darker blue. On my way to Lowell today I saw an orange Challenger SRT8 parked at a pub...I felt tempted to pull a U-turn going 45 on a busy road but decided against it. The only Honda I can say I really desire: a beautiful black NSX.

Cobalt Cometh to Cory
Comparison photos are always helpful. The body color mirrors are an improvement though.

For those of us who don't look at Cobalts every day...what did you do?

set phasers to eat @^$& and die!
Well, the good news is that 300M wasn't badly damaged. Seriously though, sucks for the guy and the BMW. I would so kick that little f@#kers ass until he was comatose.

NO SOUP FOR YOU- Is the Corvette to go the way of the Ponchos?
I nominate this for post of the year.- Wheels wheels wheels
That's what would like to do is stick with OEM...cheaper but still OEM quality. Win/win- Wheels wheels wheels
Another one has caught my eye... These are 18" Charger wheels. I'm trying to find the offset of these things...but I have seen them mounted on Intrepids before...like this one:- 196
Always a pleasure!- 196
I wanted t o be able to hit one last 1,000 mark before the engine comes out. Today it happened and I thought I'd share.- Is the Corvette to go the way of the Ponchos?
I agreed with what you were saying until this point. No one should "learn to love" another type of car. They should be able to get what they want.- TODAY SUCKS!!!
I have no intention of giving up, but finding an actual job gets very discouraging. I've only been able to barely get the part time contract job I have and odd jobs.- I am no longer a GM fan
Wrong way of thinking. The unions don't want to give up pay and benefits, and if they do they piss and moan about it. While this would be fine if the company was doing well, if the company they work for goes under, they're SO f@#king L. Even with the pay cuts they are taking they are still making a lot more money than many other people, some (like me) who have been looking for work, yet even with a BFA it seems futile.- REPORT: GM creditors want majority stake in exchange for debt
Anyone who thinks banks, which are largely responsible for the economy mess we're in now and can't manage themselves should be in charge of a car company should have their heads examined. Do you really think the banks will give a $h! abut GM? If they get enough power they'll hack it up and sell it to the Chinese to get their money.- TODAY SUCKS!!!
Sucks man, sorry to hear it. I'm still looking for a job....some of the qualifications places have are ridiculous. Example: For a graphic design job: Others want more intelligent but also difficult to qualify for things...like 5+ years experience, expert knowledge of CODING for a DESIGN job, etc.- What could Buick do
Because, GMC is supposed to, and has been almost exclusively about trucks and SUVs. Selling cars dilutes the brand image...dilute it enough and for long enough and you end up where Pontiac is now. An El Camino type vehicle is as far as I would go, not sedans, agons, coupes, and such.- Stopped in at my local BPG dealer today
- Stopped in at my local BPG dealer today
Just say F**K NO to GMC cars. Anyway, I dunno if things have changed but at the BPG dealership in Lowell they've had the same white G8 on the lot for months. I thought they finally old it, but saw it a week or so ago on the lot. Not to hijack your thread, but since they're kind of on topic..went to the Chrysler dealer today to see if they had any Avengers with the 18" wheels I've been curious about. The only had 5 Avengers and only one was an R/T (it had the razors). No Challengers, and only a few Chargers and 300s. They had 6 or 7 Rams, which they said were selling well. The Avengers were selling well as lower spec models. Apparently people are buying the cheaper ones to save money. Challengers they can't keep in stock. Lots of minivans and Jounreys though.- What could Buick do
Might as well kill GMC now if that sort of thing were to ever happen. - Wheels wheels wheels
