  1. And really, all I can do is laugh because of how disturbing it all is and how Chrysler may not make it through bankruptcy.
  2. Depends on how you wanna look at it: Chrysler: Yep, it is as diluted as Pontiac. It used to be able to go toe to toe with Cadillac (`57 era Imperials for instance). However those days have long gone and now most of what it has sold were the same things you could find at Dodge. However, like Buick it still resonates with people as more "premium" than the mainstream brand. Dodge: Diluted? How so? It's a mainstream brand like Chevy. It does have a macho image (that it's been building up since the Ram and Viper, but throughout the lineup since the Charger)), but it has a design language to back it up, as well as high-performance vehicles (and has for years). Have there been flops? Sure, but same with Chevy. Buick: Same with Chrysler...it's been diluted and also has the stogy old-fart image stuck to it, but it's still seen as being more premium than Chevy. Of course it may not matter for Chrysler anyway, if the company doesn't survive bankruptcy.
  3. And GM wants to get rid of Opel.
  4. I usually do (because it is usually faster) but the parking lot was almost full. When I finally got to the window it took her all of about 45 seconds to do the deposit, after I waited for 7:42 for the person in front of me.
  5. People who go to the bank drive-thru and like...set an account up or something that takes equally long and pisses off those of us who would take all of 2 minutes to just have them deposit a check.
  6. And that's all that really needs to be said. I agree 110% with everything he said.
  7. This last week I saw 3 XKs, all convertibles, all different colors...light blue, silver, a darker blue. On my way to Lowell today I saw an orange Challenger SRT8 parked at a pub...I felt tempted to pull a U-turn going 45 on a busy road but decided against it. The only Honda I can say I really desire: a beautiful black NSX.
  8. DO WANT
  9. Comparison photos are always helpful. The body color mirrors are an improvement though.
  10. For those of us who don't look at Cobalts every day...what did you do?
  11. Well, the good news is that 300M wasn't badly damaged. Seriously though, sucks for the guy and the BMW. I would so kick that little f@#kers ass until he was comatose.
  12. Uh uh uh...don't forget about a certain little Shadow  Yes they did!
  13. NO SOUP FOR YOU
  14. I nominate this for post of the year.
  15. That's what would like to do is stick with OEM...cheaper but still OEM quality. Win/win
  16. Another one has caught my eye... These are 18" Charger wheels. I'm trying to find the offset of these things...but I have seen them mounted on Intrepids before...like this one:
  17. Always a pleasure!
  18. I wanted t o be able to hit one last 1,000 mark before the engine comes out. Today it happened and I thought I'd share.
  19. I agreed with what you were saying until this point. No one should "learn to love" another type of car. They should be able to get what they want.
  20. I have no intention of giving up, but finding an actual job gets very discouraging. I've only been able to barely get the part time contract job I have and odd jobs.
  21. Wrong way of thinking. The unions don't want to give up pay and benefits, and if they do they piss and moan about it. While this would be fine if the company was doing well, if the company they work for goes under, they're SO f@#king L. Even with the pay cuts they are taking they are still making a lot more money than many other people, some (like me) who have been looking for work, yet even with a BFA it seems futile.
  22. Anyone who thinks banks, which are largely responsible for the economy mess we're in now and can't manage themselves should be in charge of a car company should have their heads examined. Do you really think the banks will give a $h! abut GM? If they get enough power they'll hack it up and sell it to the Chinese to get their money.
