Aston Martin finally took the wraps off the first completed One-77 this past weekend at the Concorso d'Eleganza on the shores of Lake Como and came away with the top design prize at the event. Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez was on hand to show off the car that we saw in skeletal form at the Geneva Motor Show in March. While the aesthetics of this new Aston have drawn decidedly mixed reviews, there is no doubt that it is a striking machine. The huge grille flanked by large air scoops is a departure from the classically beautiful Astons of the last 15 years and even goes well beyond the DBS. However, when considered in the context of its functionality, the appearance makes much more sense. I'm starting to feel like a broken record... As long as the company exists their will always be hope for the future. there are still products for enthusiasts to get excited about. Ocn, if the Pontiac thing bothers you so much, how come you didn't buy a G5?

Anyway, I don't see the point of this. the Vibe was never a huge seller, this current one is not a looker at all, and the only place it could go, Chevrolet, already had a 5-door. It can't become a sedan because the Cruze is coming soon..ish, so they would overlap as well.

Excuse, but how the hellis the CTS plain? Also, you people do realize what Pontiac sells is no more exclusive or expensive than if it was sold as a Chevy right? Oh look, it has an arrow and a G#...EXCLUSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While I feel you guys and that loosing a brand sucks, refusing to buy GM again because of it just defies logic, especially since, with the exception of the G8, you can buy the same damn thing at another brand.

So what did Pontiac have? The only thing they have that Chrysler doesn't is teh Solstice. The G8 competes with the Charger and that was here first, with the new one due to be unveiled soon.

I like "Moltar" better because I didn't know who the hell you were until now.

I would have to look, but hey, they aren't catching fire or rotting away.

Chrysler's reliability has been steadily improving, just an FYI.

Camino might find some offers from Chrysler that may appeal to him.

LOL I love how someone picks out the cloth of all things. I didn't even pay attention...was too bust looking at the exterior. Saw a C6 Z06, a yellow Chevelle, some kind of 40s or 50's matte black hot rod. Oh and this.

Well I'm too young to have lived through the glory days of Pontiac, so while I love the classics I don't really attach them to the Pontiac I grew up with, which was Sunfires and Grand Ams. Only the G8 strikes a cord with me and calls out to me, and it's the only one I'll really miss. Hopefully I can pick one up used some day, since I'm sure I won't have teh cash to buy one before Pontiac no longer exists.

I'm holding you to that offer.
