  1. Engine kocks come standard
  2. So GM saw an 80's flier and decided to steal the slogan?
  3. The cab forward design was inspired by the Lambo concept yes (Chrysler owned Lamborghini at the time). The engineering ideas came from the Monaco.
  4. Speaking of which, you could really add some life into the XLR with this engine.
  5. The only problem is that there's not too many modern cars worthy of this engine .
  6. From this angle it actually looks pretty good...but too bad the rest of the car (both coupe and vert) has some of the worst proportions in GM's lineup. The sedan looks alright, but compared with the Malibu it'd never get my vote...especially with that interior.
  7. Bought $50 worth of gas and set it on fire? $50 = sarcasm just so you know. However I'm dead serious that they should have spend real money on redoing the interior. That's what needs work the most, yet all they did was change out the radio? Woopie!
  8. Ding! We have a winner, That is the perfect analogy. Hey look, someone else can compare shapes to cars that are actually relevant!
  9. I love how they have a photo of the 3.9 and not the 3.6. EXCITEMENT!!!!!!! Why couldn't they have spent like $50 on the interior? I mean that is the sedan's biggest downfall.
  10. Also, you posted the same photo like 5 times.
  11. EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously though, while the nose is an improvement, it's far too little for what the car needs to actually be competitive.
  12. That face scares children in the night...
  13. Wow, friend of mine showed this to me last night. Word travels fast. It is very cool...I love how your garage can be the freakin' bat cave. It's a real shame the owners have to give it up.
  14. Yeah, there's documentation about it somewhere on allpar. == It's anything but cute.
  15. Yes I remember the experiment from psychology courses I took. I just wanted to know where on the internets he finds them.
  16. This is Pontiac's problem: nothing they have is unque enough that it would look out of place in another brand. The G8 is an excellent car and an excellent Pontiac, but give it a new front fascia and it could be a Chevy. Plus GM plans to kill it anyway. Same for the Solstice. This makes the business case for it even tougher, especially since GM has no money to spend.
  17. Put a Chevy badge on the G8 and it could be the Impala. The Solstice could fit in Chevy's lineup. The Camaro and Corvette can't fit in Pontiac's lineup. Chevy is the everyman brand yet has the highest performance car in the entire company.
  18. When I was a kid I always wondered why they didn't just remake classic cars. I always thought it would be so cool. Of course now I know that could never happen.
  19. Where do you find this stuff?
  20. Yes, let's thank God, because clearly he had everything to do with anything car related. Anyway, it's contradictory to say Pontiac stands more for performance than Chevy does these days. Why? Corvette Camaro Cobalt SS That 3 VS Solstice G8 The G5 doesn't even have a performance version.
  21. They sadly do still exist. I look forward to the day they go bankrupt. You're paying to have malware on your computer.
  22. Happy Birthday!
  23. Never mind, the picture is there now. haha I've never seen one of those. They're said to be the basis for which the LH was inspired by.
  24. My problem is that I know most of the design programs with the notable exception of InDesign, and it's one of the programs lots of design companies want experience with in addition to the other stuff.
