  1. Well you proved my point for me...the `68 looks far better without the vent windows. Even so, the vent windows still pivoted, the E-Class coupe's is a fixed, glued in window...you know that very type of thing you complain about so much.
  2. I want to start it, but what do I call it?
  3. Well I know I'm buying a Challenger R/T with the Track Pak for my first new car. With that in mind I'm debating whether or not to compliment it with a V8 Camaro or V6 Camaro, and if it should be automatic or manual (since the Challenger would be manual). It would have the RS package either way though.
  4. I'm sorry but that was pure OWN3AGE. CadillacKing makes a point though: Satty is in the Toyota thread making fun of Toyotas with us. I'm thinking of starting a Chrysler thread and seeing how the carnage goes...I bet it could get up to page 20 in a day.
  5. Plus the haggling process with Toyota doesn't involve searing pain and agony. +1 Toyota.
  6. You don't, but it's a symbol of luxury and this is a luxury car. Also it's a bit embarrassing that you can get it on a pickup truck, which is not a luxury vehicle. With that in mind, B-pillar be damned, I would much rather have the CTS coupe..it's a far better looking car inside and out, IMO.
  7. If GM hadn't wasted years giving Saab half ass products like the 9-2 and 9-7, and letting the rest rot on the vine, Maybe Saab would actually make a profit. I hope Saab is spun off because I bet they could do a hell of a lot better on their own.
  8. To me, if it's going to be a hardtop ALL OF THE GLASS SHOULD ROLL DOWN. Otherwise it defeats the purpose and might as well have a pillar, IMHO
  9. Before I finally get some sleep, I'll leave this thread on a more serious note. Regarding Pontiac: I don't see much hope for teh brand, and here's why. Of all the products they have, the only ones viable for not competing with other GM vehicles are the G8, Solstice, and G6 coupe and convertible. G8: Excellent car, the best Pontiac has had in decades. It can go toe to toe with other cars in its segment and win. The problem is that GM seems hell bent on killing off the last of the Zetas, regardless of how much better the platform is than 90% of what GM has for other platforms. Solstice: With Saturn confirmed for the chopping block, this would leave the Solstice to be the only small roadster/targa in the GM lineup. Problem is that there is no replacement for the Kappas planned, and the current car has flaws that have yet to be addressed (interior, folding top mechanism.) G6: The coupe and sedan have no direct competitors in GM's stable, and few competitors from other companies. However, what few there exist, are mostly better products. The G6 convertible has comparatively poor crash test results, and like all G6's has a crappy interior. The coupe is no where near as refined as the Accord coupe. Both coupe and vert look dated, and would need a lot of money to fix their flaws....money which GM doesn't have and/or isn't willing to spend on Pontiac. So those are my thoughts.
  10. I guess it's time for a new sig. I think it's rather fitting.
  11. And what does that have to do with anything? 2.7, along with every other V6 gets replaced by the Phoenix series, starting with the new LX cars. Those side vents you seem to like to make a big deal of can be found in many other cars, the general shape is used in several interiors. It looks "horribly dated" yet you just compared it to 2 in-production cars. That's not dated. Amazing how you can make out so much from a small, primitive render...your skills (or lack thereof) are amazing. How about waiting until we see actual spyshots of the real thing before making judgments as though they were final?
  12. Well if it makes you feel better the stuff I posted wad from amateur artists on DeviantART
  13. I mean from now on let's put the excitement related posts in the excitement thread is all.
  14. That would make more exciting sense...LOL All future excitement posts please go here http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?sh...c=28318&hl=
  15. My plan wheels wise is a set of 18's from the Avenger...I never cared for most of the Intrepid wheel styles.
  16. i plan to put a 3.5 in my car smeday. Of course I've also heard of V8 conversions and even RWD conversions done to these things...now that's EXCITEMENT!!!!!!! ...and expensive, and a little crazy.
  17. Well that's not ironic, we have Honda fans here too, what is ironic is that a Mopar fan is an admin of a GM site. My master plan is working, excellent... muhahahahaha
  18. I like Bonnevilles too dude...it's all in good fun. With all the bad news it's nice to have a laugh once in a while.
  19. I've seen one of those wings mounted on a WindStar...now that is scary.
  20. Also I could find a youtube video with Intrepids doing burnouts...it's almost as cool as RWD burnouts. FWD EXCITEMENT!!!!
  21. I'm ashamed of you gm4life...no joke about the 2.7's blowing up? WHERE'S THE EXCITEMENT!??!?!?!?! It's all in good fun..a little laughing never hurt anyone. Also you forgot the Shadow, and BV's dead Quad 4 Pontiac.
  22. I think that's a draw.
  23. Durango is being redesigned on GC platform...this cuts down costs of the GC's platform verses the two SUVs having their own platforms...it makes sense that it would continue. 300 and Charger are confirmed. Chrysler isn't GM, they don't don't cancel models after confirming their existance and production dates.
