If I were to build a Computer
Oh about the Quad Core post. Quad Core is awesome for 3D applications. It makes a huge difference, since 3D programs rely more on CPU computing and mathematics than the video card. However, for gaming, you'd be better off saving the money on a Quad, going with a Dual, and spending that money on a more powerful video card.

If I were to build a Computer
I hate Dells with an undying passion. The desktops are worthless piles of $h! made with cheap components, they're poorly programed, have lots of issues, and their tech support blows huge chunks of ass. I cannot stress this enough: the laptops may be ok (I don't hear too many complaints about them) but the desktops are rubbish.

Chrysler's lifetime warranty is non-transferable. That's its catch.- Hyundai Equus Teaser
ZOMG! a whopping 3-4 decibels difference! Just because it's louder doesn't make it any less refined. In a performance car you want to hear the engine.- Hyundai Equus Teaser
- Hero or Villain? Kiwi bandit filling "boy racer" exhausts with expanding foam
You'll pardon my lack of giving a $h! for these poor ricers. Not only do they have a habit of waking me up at 4am with their FWD burnouts and flooring it up and down the street, but one of the f@#kers hit BOTH of our cars. Payback's a bitch.- Pre-production Chevy Camaros begin rolling off Oshawa assembly line
Based on what? The 350Z has aged poorly and the Genesis certainly doesn't have a timeless look about it.- I Sought Out The Curse

Hey genius, the 300 hp V6 is in the smaller CTS. You can get a V8 in the larger STS. The Equus is larger than the CTS. One more thing. You want a V8 in the smaller CTS? Do you listen to yourself?- Utterly Amazed: Google Maps
And yeah NOS, you are a little late to the party.- Utterly Amazed: Google Maps
Yep, that feature alone makes Google Maps the best for directions. You can actually see what the area loks like you have to turn at, as opposed to just relying on some crappy, grainy, pixelated satellite image.- ROLL OUT
ROLL OUT: Pre-production Camaros begin rolling off Oshawa assembly line A little good news to offset the bad. GM has released images of per-production Camaros being assembled at the Oshawa plant. By the numbers: GM's January Sales Down 49% The numbers are in, and not surprisingly, they don't look good. GM Reports 129,227 Deliveries in January, a 49% drop compared to January 2008's sales. Follow the jump to see all of the details and sales breakdown. http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?sh...=28032&st=0- January 2009 Sales: General Motors
Clever marketing, this is. GM only wishes they could market so well.- Hyundai Equus Teaser
Dodge called and wants the Charger's up kick back. The exterior looks pretty good, but that upkick/character line, at least in the sketch, looks too low and becomes saggy. The interior looks really nice.- Nissan Cancels Quest, Armada, QX56
Now there's a shock!- Pre-production Chevy Camaros begin rolling off Oshawa assembly line
General Motors has released a slew of images that show the first batch of pre-production 2010 Chevy Camaros being assembled at the its assembly plant in Oshawa, Ontario. Check out the gallery below to see how the sausage is made, though watching the Camaro go from shells to showroom ready is much more appetizing than watching someone stuff animal intestines with meat. The gallery shows nearly every stage of the muscle car's birth process, including paint, the mating of body to chassis, final inspections and the finished product that pops out the other end. Enjoy. Reliability wasn't a problem with it though, so that's not an issue. A snow plow hitting him was the problem..and I'd have more faith in the Jetta than some tin-can Beetle to survive a crash like that.- BACON EXPLOSION
Yes, yes it is.- Hero or Villain? Kiwi bandit filling "boy racer" exhausts with expanding foam
BRRRAAAAP! It's music to the ears of a subset of car nuts. Noisy exhaust setups are hardly a new phenomenon, but the fashion for mufflers that intentionally buzz as much as possible is a more recent development in the pantheon of annoying things others do. Exasperation with the muffler rap has led a New Zealand vigilante to start terrorizing cars equipped with what he or she describes as "boy-racer exhausts" in a written manifesto sent to the Marlborough Express. Using the handle "Phantom Expander," the self-righteous vandal has taken to filling the tailpipes of offending cars with self-expanding foam. So far, the four-hour set time of the foam has been the saving grace for the Phantom's victims, most of whom have been able to clear the exhausts before the intended plug has dried. Vehicles with fully clogged exhausts will not start, and repairs could get expensive if other components are damaged. For now, the foam bandit roams free, but it's only a matter of time before someone gets caught with a can of "Great Stuff" in their hand. Will it be the constabulary or a car owner that catches them? For the foamer's sake, it might be best to get nabbed by the police so that they can keep all of their teeth. http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/03/hero-or...xhausts-with-e/- Fiat Bravo

All that will be accomplished by pulling out is giving the companies left lots of room to gain sales and market share. - For Sale: One “Slightly Damaged” Challenger SRT8
