  1. I do agree about the interior, a more retro lookw ould be cool. That being said my only real compaint is the steering wheel, because it's ugly and not sporty at all, other than that the interior is at least good quality and functional.
  2. It would have to be a 300C limo then.
  3. All of this hating over the Challenger and in some cases the Mustang. Of course this is to be expected to an extent on a GM board, but we should just be thankful that, for what may be one last time, the 3 American Icons are back to duke it out and piss in the eye of FWD blandess from the likes of Toyota, Honda, and so on.
  4. Forget the G-Bodies, is that a Chevelle I spy in the background?
  5. I didn't read the whole thing, but from what I did read it seemed that the problem was that the mother was acused of mistreating her children and lacked teaching credentials. Home schooling is fine, but certainly the parents need to have proof that they can actually teach.
  6. Seriously ocn, if she fixes the A/C it's fine right? And if she loves it I don't see why it would be worth it to trade the Jeep in. I don't know the numbers, but I'd assume the trade-in or resale value would be less than whatever new car she wants to buy. So she would have to spend more on said new car, and then pay for gas for it, as opposed to just paying for gas for the Jeep. This is why we don't mind that the Merc doesn't get the world's greatest fuel economy. Sure a new, smaller car gets better fuel economy, but you're paying tens of thousands of dollars for that verses I think about $1,400 for the big V8 tank (counting registration fees too).
  7. I don't thinking anything about the Camaro, regardless of trim level, says "sleeper" It screams performance.
  8. Not a bad looking benz. Too bad about the Banana, and too bad it sold for like half the original price.
  9. I'd buck the trend of being a throw-away society, and spend the money to fix the Jeep, and save the money verses buying a new car.
  10. Aw damnit now I'm hungry. We haven't done much in the way of cooking since the hot water heater shit the bed, and we're not spending $800 to replace it to so can use it for 2 weeks before moving out. My prick of a father can enjoy it when he move in. But anyway...I may just have to make something now...maybe eggs with some pepper jack and bacon....also if we have the good for french toast i may do that too...I love french toast

Show her some photos of the Cruze and tell her to wait a little longer. Or have her look at a Fit or Mazda 3, or even an LTZ Cobalt. And remember: friends don't let friends drive Echos.
  12. That is a big, ugly van but it's got great proportions
  13. Charger all the way. You can borrow it from her when you don't want to drive the truck.
  14. I'd rather drive in my $1000 RWD, BOF, V8 car and still save thousands. Wow, who am I starting to sound like?
  15. Thanks guys. Here's a couple more photos: I've been working on fixing little things on the car. Today was replacing the plastic sun visor holders that were both broken. Next week will probably be new window motors for the passenger door and the driver's side rear door. I've also got some newer chrome switches to replace the faded chrome ones on this car. Gonna take off the driver's door panel and put it on properly, whoever did it last didn't do a good job of securing it, so it rattles. Need a passenger side headlight assembly. New compressor soon. Need a set of matching hubcaps...or 2 matching alloys. The car came with 2 alloy wheels with almost new tires on them This is a project of sorts (one of 3), mainly little things and giving it some TLC. When I'm finished it and the other 2 cars will get interior detailing (I have no idea how the pros get the interiors so clean).
  16. I remember when the concept debuted all the rags said it looked nowhere near production ready,a nd that it would be dumbed down significantly for production, guess the real enthusiasts at GM showed them, and kept it very close to the concept. My only minor complaint is I wish it had a slightly longer rear overhang, but that's it. Also, someone needs to offer 22" / 21" replica wheels of the concept. They may not be good for ride anf handling but damn they look cool still.
  17. They probably smelt you coming.
  18. Looks amazing Camino, so pretty and clean, not like my project. You also inspired me to do some work today, in the 95 degree, very humid weather, so thanks.
  19. For Comparison:
  20. Those poor Mopars.
  21. That looks a lot better. I agree with Harley though, the reverse lights are stupid...why not have just integrated them into 2 of the brake lights? It clutters up the butt. Minor complaints though.

Some towing companies are as bad as insurance companies. When the T&C was totaled teh priks tried to keep us from taking home, saying we'd loose our license and claim and a bunch of BS like that.
  23. I don't get how or why people are calling it cheap lookig. It looks very nice.
  24. This actually manages to surpass the magum and the Sportwagon as the coolest looking wagon ever.
