  1. +1 On a side note: beer tastes like carbonated piss. I don't know how people drink it.
  2. It works now, very sweet photos. I bet the site was attacked by ricers.
  3. Hey I was 100% approved when my FWD Mopar hauled our asses to Oklahoma and back. I actually don't mind the roof. It contrasts with the light paint. More importantly it's in good shape...no rips or tears. By the way, I've been meaning to ask if there's any special cleaner or care that bust be taken of the vinyl roof besides the obvious (like not going through a carwash with those rotary brushes).
  4. So far it's been pretty good. There were a few issues that cropped up. Check Engine light came on...turned out to be a clogged intake hose which is probably why the engine ran a bit warm. Runs at normal temp now. The transmission would also not enjoy going in reverse after the car warmed up...the car would shudder and not really go back. Replaced the filter and changed the fluid. Problem solved. Changed the oil. Also the driver's seat frame was broken, so I got a replacement from the junkyard. All that's left is some interior trim and a set of matching hubcaps We enjoy driving it, even thought it only makes 190hp, it makes 260 ft.-lbs. of torque, which is quite noticeable compared to the other cars. The transmission is impressive because it upshifts and downshifts very smoothly, and has yet to be caught off gaurd. It's better than both the trans in my car and the Cobalt. I'll post some cleaned-up pictures later.
  5. I love Mopar, when to spit in the eye of CAFE. The 1000+ pounds of weight reduction, combined with the engine mounted lower and the slightly shorter wheelbase should make this quite a beast on the drag strip.
  6. Autoblog reports it dead: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/07/14/alas-z-...ew-ye/#comments
  7. And the interior, and that it didn't feel like a quality product. I think the new one solves all of that..besidesmaybe the bong.
  8. Maybe GM does know what it's doing after all: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/07/14/lock-an...rope-after-all/
  9. How is it "owned" Really, it's not very good use of the emote. Anyway, the DTS will die sure, but the point I'm making is that Cadillac seems to be graviating yet again towards FWD, which can be seen with the SRX replacement. FWD does not a serious luxury marque make, just ask Honda.
  10. I want to go boating again...
  11. Because Cadillacs have to be concerned with fuel economy like the other divisions? I guess we're going to see the STS die and the craptastic DTS live on. FWD Cadillacs are t3h future. And the industry will continue to laugh at Cadillac, and not see at as a real player in the luxury segment.
  12. Surprise surprise, Hummer is last. What does surprise me is just how close the Pontiac number of purchases are to Cheverolet, and how many more planned purchases there are for Pontiac.
  13. Like a BMW Inline 6.
  14. WTF man? It saids me to some BS online Virus Scan.
  15. Yup, pizza business sucks more than it used to. People still think it costs nothing to drive the pizza to their fat, lazy asses and either tip cheap or not at all. Which is why I'm glad I no longer do it.
  16. Exactly
  17. It's really coming along Camino!
  18. I'm not sure in any way whatsoever the W-bodies were a good thing, especially in their final years. They hung around too long, the packaging is terrible (especially the backseat), the proportions are ungainly, and the handling was "meh" at best. I cannot wait to see the Invicta, which I hope that's what they call it, because not only is LaCrosse a bad name, it's the name of middle-of-the-road car. It should almost certainly drive better, handle better, and will of course have far better proportions. Styling is subjective but to me the Invicta is much more contemporary and better looking than any Buick car before it, and finally brings Buick's cars into the 21st century.
  19. You know, this talk of $8 gas and Europeans don't want V8's is a BS excuse...or does everyone forget about the Jaguar XF, M3, M5 (V10), and so on.
  20. Mianly drive the Prizm which gets 32-35 in mixed driving. Intrepid does about 24 in mixed driving. Haven't been using it much lately, mainly because it needs a ball joint or tie-rod and I haven't gotten around to doing them yet...oh and it has no A/C so yeah. Not sure about the GM, haven't calculated it yet, but we may take it on a trip to the western part of the state today, so that would be a good chance to calculate it.
  21. That I'm not sure, if it was just the UK then it wouldn't be a big deal I think, but not sending the V over to Europe at all is a huge mistake, because it has what i takes to crush the competition.
  22. Honestly, if this is true, what the hell are they thinking? The CTS-V is Cadillac's chance to finally take on the Europeans and crush them, finally earning it some respect. Proof once more GM doesn't know what it's doing.
  23. Thanks guys, that's helpful info! Here's some photos of the house: We may just refinish the hardwood floors, but we have to tile the kitchen, because the previous owner thought it would be a good idea to carpet it.
