  1. I like both varieties but I like thick crust pizza better...the toppings tend to overpower the taste of the crust if there's not enough of it. I love stuffed crust pizza. What is really important is the ratio of sauce verses teh amount of crust and cheese...too much can ruin it (for me).
  2. I'd easily take one over the current 3 series...it's just too unattractive.
  3. |-|4RD(0R3 P\/\//\/4G3 Don't forget that the Chevy's frame probably won't bend in half.
  4. I like it, but I like the looks of the G35 coupe more.
  5. The overall body is alright, but the wacky shapes of the front and back aren't very pretty. They don't match well with the surrounding surfaces. The interior looks very nice. Is the wood fake you real?
  6. The aren't fixing the bed design, which is what really makes it ugly. It's still 100x better than the Tundra, even if it's not a true truck.
  7. While their at it they should make door handles that don't come off in your hand...oh wait...that's not something affecting new vehicles. Their "quality" has been slipping for years. People just fail to acknowledge it. A coworker of mine has a `99 Corolla. When I first told him about why I thought Toyota's super quality was BS he told me he's had no problems with his car. When my door handle came off the other day he admitted that he's had to replace parts on his car...the truth is out there.
  8. So maybe now we'll be able to tell which end is actually the front?

    I still want a RAZR
  10. Well, if that car is still there maybe I will swing by with one of the old Shadow wheels...the tires are junk but they still hold air at least.
  11. With Tundras being 3,500 off, and going by this logic, it's fleet sales should be like 84.2%
  12. The Charger somewhat surprises me, but the Avenger is shocking, especially for being brand new... Aura surprises me some too...so does the Edge.
  13. Oops, brain fart...this is why these vehicles need NAMES!!!
  14. Ah, that generation of Camry suffers from teh same problem that plagues mid 90's Corollas and Prizms...cheap door handles. I've seen several with the driver's door handle broken off. I road in one of those once...the rear end made terrible noises over any sort of bump in the road, and the speed bump we creeped over was just awful. Granted, the car probably needed bushing or something...but the Shadow's never had it's bushings replaced and it doesn't make noise going over bumps. I remember the interior too..decent materials but it had creeks and squeaks...and the plastic surrounding the gauge cluster flexed a lot. Still the "best looking" of the Camries though.
  15. Alternatively, the lazy bastard could pick a up a screwdriver and a wrench and fix it himself. There's some things I leave to the mechanics, but if I can do it, I sure as hell will. The dealer wanted to charge me $200+ to replace the 2 blown bulbs in the gauge cluster...all labor...2-3 hours assuming they "didn't break anything" while taking the dash apart". The rep himself admitted it was probably better if I just ignored it than waist the money. After the cruise control light stopped working, I decided I'd do it myself...so I do what I always do...go to the junkyard, find a junkyard car of the type I'm looking to fix, and learn/practice on it (and swipe all of of the bulbs). If something breaks I have nothing to worry about. The next day I did it in about an hour...piece of cake.
  16. My family has pretty much bought strictly Chrysler products for years...so the only story I have is while I was looking for a new car I considered a last gen Grand Prix...I like the styling of that car a lot. When we went to the car auction where I bought the Intrepid, there was a black GP there. I did look at it and sit inside of it, but was turned off by the horribly cheap interior. I meant to test drive it anyway, but never got the chance to. I think I remember hearing someone run it though, and it didn't sound too good, so it would have been a no go anyway. I know, not a very interesting story.
  17. I forgot about the MDX...I happen to really like it's styling inside and out...and it does have a good powertrain.
  18. I've been at work all day...so why? (and sorry I don't know how...we open our garage the old fashioned way)
  19. Yesterday on my way back from a delivery traffic was slowing down, and moving into the other lane...it was to avoid a guy on a bicycle...but not just any bicycle. This guy was riding 8 feet or so in the air. I got a look at it as I was driving by. Apparently he welded 2 bike frames together, one on top of the other, and then mounted the seat on a 2-3 foot pipe. How he maintained his balance is beyond me. Today as I was delivering to a store in a strip mall, i noticed a gold mid 90's Cavalier parked awkwardly in the Bank of America parking lot. It had a flat and there was no one in it. I thought it was odd how it was parked, but figured the owner had gone to get a help from the Shell station or something. a few hours later I drove by the plaza and noticed the car was still there, and a person was next to it with a couple bags on the ground. It still had a flat. A couple hours later I went by again, out of curiosity, and the car was still there, still with a flat, and in the same position. I started to wonder if the car had been abandoned. Stuff like that doesn't happen around here much, especially in a crowded plaza, but who knows. I just got off work about a half hour ago, and I decided to go check again...I thought I had seen a sign on the driver's window...I planned to get out and have a look if it was still there. Sure enough, it was. I parked to the left of the car in the next free space and got out, to discover a person was inside the car! Whoever it was had there elbow on the door panel and hand on their had. I was really surprised...and felt awkward to say the least. I walked next door to grab an ice cream cone from McDonald's to make it look somewhat less conspicuous(?). The I left. Thinking about it now, I remember seeing bags in the back of the car...perhaps cans. I can only think that this poor person is literally poor, and teh car is all they have...if they lack the money to fix the flat they're screwed, and they probably know it. I feel bad about it, and want to help, but I'm not sure if any of the wheels and tires we have are the right size for a Cavalier...let alone if the tires on them are any good. I don't have the money to go buying a tire for this person, plus every place is closed now that sells tires....what to do?
  20. The Porsche is hideous and only slightly less so since the MCE. If I were choosing my list would be: Cadillac SRX Buick Enclave Lexus RX Audi Q7 I like them all, even the Lexus, but the SRX is by far my favorite, with it's sexy new interior, great performance, good looks, it can probably be had for a good price.
  21. Saab's biggest problem is product. If they want to make profits or even break even they must get some new and relevant product out there. GM also seems to have no idea how to manage the brand. Why is it that the 9-5 has not been redesigned yet, and won't be until 2009-2012? They wonder why it sells so poorly...because it's already ancient and a mild face lift does little to help matters...it fools no one. The 9-3, while a good car that is getting a very handsome MCE is also getting old, and it will be a while before it's finally redesigned. The 9-2x was a huge mistake, alienating Saab faithful and fooling no one that it was little more than a handsome Subaru. The 9-7x further alienated the Saab faithful by being RWD, and a fancy TrailBlazer. And for what? A few hundred sales a month? All of this, and GM is scratching it's head wondering why Saab is selling slow. GM is supposedly getting it's act together for product, but why has it taken so long. GM also has to understand that slapping parts from the corporate bin (like the bowtie stereo) doesn't help the brand's image as entry luxury.
  22. Is that what you Fusion has? (referring to the I4)
  23. As I recall the Fusion had soft-touch surfaces on teh lower dash, most (if not all) mid-size competitors don't have that...it's hard plastic. To me, the Fusion's only weak area is the center stack, and the engine. They've got an engine for it, they just need to put it in, and then they just need to redo the center stack.
