Yes- they’re not literally copies of each other. Kinda of a given. Besides, the Canyon has just what you advocated for with the ‘19 Sierra- no ‘fangs’ / the rectangular grille of recent earlier versions. I have no issue with it, and it’s actually more distinctive vs the ‘coma- there’s about 50 cars/trucks running the 6-sided trapezoid grille recently.

• No 'GT' in this generation. • 'Flying buttress' is what I've always heard it termed as. Room for that on a modern vehicle...

You think the Tacoma is in the same segment as the Sierra?? What ‘bling’? They both have 3-element horizontal grilles, w a large centered emblem, banded with chrome. Both have body-colored bumpers w round fog lights & a black chin spoiler. Both have 6-spoke, 6-lug alloys. Both have wrap-around flashy headlight clusters & flared fenders.

They're either both 'inoffensive', or both 'garish trash', because they're in fact quite similar ~ …other than the fact that one doesn't have a 'rots in half' history.

I really like Christine conceptually, and some scenes are good but the movie hasn't held up for me over the years. Having read the book beforehand, I was disappointed at some of the shortcuts they took RE LeBay. It's a movie I certainly would sit upright in my chair if I were to hear a reboot was in the works.

Never seen the movie (The Highwaymen (2004)), just scenes. Intriguing 'robotized' car (& villain).
