  1. But my 'streak'….!
  2. current 500e sales, year to date : 272. Good luck with your speedy, 12-month 'global electric leader' plan, which seemingly largely means issuing press releases about (possible) electric vehicle plans.
  3. Yes- they’re not literally copies of each other. Kinda of a given. Besides, the Canyon has just what you advocated for with the ‘19 Sierra- no ‘fangs’ / the rectangular grille of recent earlier versions. I have no issue with it, and it’s actually more distinctive vs the ‘coma- there’s about 50 cars/trucks running the 6-sided trapezoid grille recently.
  4. • No 'GT' in this generation. • 'Flying buttress' is what I've always heard it termed as. Room for that on a modern vehicle...
  5. (Also not in the tacoma's segment but) FIFTH place in sales :
  6. You think the Tacoma is in the same segment as the Sierra?? What ‘bling’? They both have 3-element horizontal grilles, w a large centered emblem, banded with chrome. Both have body-colored bumpers w round fog lights & a black chin spoiler. Both have 6-spoke, 6-lug alloys. Both have wrap-around flashy headlight clusters & flared fenders.
  7. Boo!!
  8. They're either both 'inoffensive', or both 'garish trash', because they're in fact quite similar ~ …other than the fact that one doesn't have a 'rots in half' history.
  9. Was behind one this week. Of course; they’re hardly noticeable- just badges externally.
  10. Another graduate ~
  11. Class of '66 ~
  12. One of these is a comparitive luxury car, the other you get to rest your arm on the edge of a map pocket ~
  13. ^ Ford always gets their packages/availabilities right. I don't believe there is a more configurable/ more varied car or truck line going, present or past. - - - - - Trash groupies ~
  14. Ideal FapTurbo 'cool whip', except not much room in the trunk for bags of onions.
  15. ^ They've already done that countless times, but more to the point; wouldn't an out-of-control self-driving Tesla be a bit too 'real-life' to be interesting?
  16. I really like Christine conceptually, and some scenes are good but the movie hasn't held up for me over the years. Having read the book beforehand, I was disappointed at some of the shortcuts they took RE LeBay. It's a movie I certainly would sit upright in my chair if I were to hear a reboot was in the works.
  17. Never seen the movie (The Highwaymen (2004)), just scenes. Intriguing 'robotized' car (& villain).
  18. 'questionable looks' is not a fact. Neither is 'priced too high'. In general; everything automotive is. Must be creeping up on the 100th time this joke has been told.
  19. Bolt would sub in fine for the example- same figures apply. Leaf is noticeably cheaper- anyone heard any estimates on how much nissan loses on each one?? Of course one can swap out different vehicles and drive different miles; it was merely an average, illustrative comparison using the car shown in the video & responding to the scripted dialogue within. Interesting sales to date in 2019 comparison : Bolt: 6622, Leaf: 4852, i3: 1734.
