  1. Factory promo model:
  2. Seems like a crazy ad for a new car dealer in a high school yearbook ~
  3. De-rusted/ deburred/ sanded fan, fan shroud, timing cover, valve covers, breather, A/C dryer bracket, fan guard, some other bits. Fan shroud & breather are painted, rest is ready for prep/ prime/ paint. Need to get my sand blast cabinet up & running; going to swap the sand out for glass bead I think. Also needs new glass- it's been etched by flying sand nearly to the point of opacity.
  4. prototype soft top ~
  5. ^ True, however those are also the least ‘affordable’ Teslas. Curious to see what GM defines as ‘affordable’.
  6. Pentagon UFO report comes out June ‘21...
  7. Uh-huh. - - - - - The issue with pitching the max range configuration is- it will involve going to RWD, which 95% of personal pickup buyers don't want.
  8. Prolly on the high side- I've seen these in this condition more in the $4K range. Super rare- supposedly only 100 '59 Eldorados with buckets.
  9. ‘80 scirrocco project with Trans Am scoops welded into the fenders.
  10. Not sure I want them printing any of my tuf.
  11. "conquer Moab"?? Looks not unlike my central Jersey driveway.
  12. Recently rescued '58 Fury! ?
  13. My dealer has a darker red/black ST on the floor- exterior looks pretty good. I don't care for all the asymmetry on the dash tho.
  14. '68 deVille convertible, dark cherry red/cream top, at Midas.
  15. Maybe WA needs to pass a ‘tarp loaded vehicle’ law instead.
  16. No action yet. However, their driveway was heavily aged & cracked before that; the right side had been excavated twice for sewer pipe issues. I have no info on what a power company would be willing to/required to do in a situation like this.
  17. Obviously... heavy duty trucks like class 8 are going to be required to run flaps in any state. I kinda just stated that above. Seems Seattle has a lot more on it’s enforcement mind than mud flaps. If you think about it, a vehicle’s tire isn’t throwing rocks from the middle of a tire as often as it’s more likely to be coming from where the tire meets the ground. There; almost nothing is ‘properly covered’. Hm-mmm... I wonder if a vehicle that is scampering to 60 in 3 secs is more often going to be throwing rocks than the average lifted pickup. ?
  18. In my state, mud flaps are tied to registered vehicle weight. My COE is exempt because it's registered GVW is 5000 and the 'line' is 6000, even tho it's a cab/chassis with no bed or rear fenders.
  19. That's advertising copy, not necessarily actual fact/truth. A quick Google search shows multiple hits on very recent EA charger issues; they can say "we're dedicated" all day & night, but the proof is in the puddin'. As a rule of thumb; the louder you have to proclaim something, the more likely it's foundation is shaky.
  20. I think the sensor was because they drove it up the street to fuel it when it was still in transport mode. If so; kinda dumb. To be clear- I have not only not driven it, I haven't even sat in it yet. Salesdude believes it won't go on a Carfax because it hasn't been titled yet - I have not taken possession and not signed the 'delivery form'. Doesn't really matter if I keep it 15+ years. My buddy said I should refuse the truck... but there's no inventory out there and I need to replace mine ASAP. - - - - - Compared to the Q1 average of 11-13 GMCs fitting my bill of cab/box/trim/engine within 100 miles of me, there are now only 3 listed (none of which I'm thrilled how they're outfitted).
  21. April '20 vs. April '21 United Kingdom sales numbers are in. BE sales rose 566%, from 1,374 units to 9,152. Diesel IC sales rose 1,198% from 1,079 to 14,012. MHEV diesel sales rose 12,346%, from 75 to 9,335. Gas IC sales rose 4,482%, from 1,553 to 71,173. BE, PHE and HE sales totaled 30,545. Diesel, MHE diesel, gas, and MHE gas sales totaled 111,038. Total of all : 141,583. Market share of pure BE vehicles : 6%. 2030 only 8.5 years away.
  22. It's not off the hauler- it's got delivered 4/29. Mechanic was testing sensor repair. But yea- I think I'll angle for 2 payments.
