this guy was obviously pulling the pud while he wrote this. he hides behind a big vocabulary, obtained most likely from the thesaurus sitting next to his computer...poor cliches and "un"funny metaphors...with a dash of pop culture and sex reference just to sound hip. im just not in a fantastic mood and feel like ripping this piece by piece but will just say, by the time it reaches the market and is a success hell have to pull a foot out from the ol pie hole...which im guessing shouldnt be a big deal. i wouldnt worry about lame-o's like this who just like to be contrary for the sake of being contrary.
-
sorry to hear about that. the guy was probably just trying to sound all big and hard in front of the ladies. not making excuses for the chumpo but i hope you get satisfaction when its all said and done. i cant believe anyone would have te nerve and arrogance to pull off something like that. the pontiac dealer over by me is a bit of a penis too. id still by gm and pontiac but not from them. i hope you dont take this as a reflection of the company as a whole but someone somewhere should make a mends. unbelievable.

thats pretty f@#kin creepy. i always do kind of believe and look for anything to disprove just to reinforce, but thats just plain creepy man. doesnt help matters much either, thanks.

still trying to engineer desire. what a waste. oooh it has a button now. ill take one in silver. the button that is. i saw a lex is earlier and thought to myself, wow, they finally got those bmw proportions down pretty well now. it did have a suberp paint job though too. very nice looking. the button dont make a lick of a difference to me. its still alexus and i think they have a ways to go before they produce a car that doesnt run like a calculator. or a refridgerator. or whatever. you cant engineer desire its naturally there. you either have it, or you dont.

just picture that being the main car on the road. everyone or anyone that commutes to work would have been driving that at some point...eventually. it would be the main mode of transport. kinda like the jetsons. sure, other people would be out driving around but the ev1 couldve been like public transportation without the pt. eventually so many people would buy them and would then be more afordable once the market set a price that was adequate for that average person. pretty far fetched i know, but if nothing else that ship has sailed now. it was a good idea that was not at all accepted the time when it was introduced. too bad i guess. cant dwell on it.

im sure they were just worried after watching this new movie a bunch of treehugging hippies would sneak in during the middle of the night, plug it in for a few minutes, blow it out, and then drive off all high. who knows. sheer speculation. or perhaps its just so they can say "what electric car?"
-
i just tell them it aint a park bench and to beat it...some people are really nuts though. you really shouldnt touch anyone leses car because some people realy flip. and who wants to then deal with that.

talk about a bad turn. wheres joshiepoo? anyone?

theyre getting good with this camo lately. really good. the zebra striping in those other shots is bar none. i think this looks pretty promising nevertheless.

doesnt there seem to be a more intense design focussed on 4doors with coupe styling, the benz' and auidis for instance. do the germnans know something we dont or are they just looking to create another new trend? there is so much more practicality with 4 doors, however you arrange them.

Being No. 1 no longer a top priority for GM
Mr.Krinkle replied to andy82471's topic in General Motors
is there really any right way to take this news? the part i dont get is why even mention it at all. -
thats a little hard for me to read, but if im reading it correctly the % of v8's is way down almost steadily every year but v6's seem to have held steady. maybe traded off for a little with the 4's., thats if im looking at it correctly, which would then suggest to me that its really more of a battle between 4 or 6 cyl cars. in other words its not really that theres more v6's just more 4's. which would make sense as the switch to fwd kindve killed off most v8 engines anyway. so perhaps, the rise of the 4 cylinder engine in the passenger car. feel free to correct, like i have to even say that.

if they pulled their heads out of their asses long enough, id love to hear it.

maybe its getting around that everything is fair game now. or is it just a higher awareness on our parts?
-
see that, not everyone will be brainwashed just because they read something. this was a very astute evaluation of a very misguided bitter little man.

thats too bad, sometimes this city just chews people up and doesnt even bother to spit them back out. you should have seen times square before disney bought it. or you could just watch taxi driver, travis sums it up much nicer i dont know what kind of problem you had here but it doesnt get more real than ny. its not for everybody but it doesnt make it less. ive been in plenty of farming towns that smell much worse so i really dont know what your beef is...it sounds like you lost all your money playing three card monty or are just an horribly unlucky person. as far as the times goes, that really has nothing to do with ny. its not printed with the city in mind, the news and the post are printed for everyday normal people. people are going to believe what they want to believe and there is no need to reply to every bull$h! story by some lunatic hack. sometimes the high road is more appropriate. GM is really no better if they counter point every one of this nutbars rants. the times' credibility has been tanking for years so this is really just par for the course. there are better ways to handle situations like this, not passing notes back and forth like were in the 6th grade. i believe people who were on the fence arent persuaded by such propaganda. i think the militia is retooling.

most wrecks on a motorcycle, helmet or not arent going to be pleasant. a guy around here clipped the back end of a car that was going through a redlight and flew into the traffic light pole. helmet or not he had no neck and his spine was considerably shortened. its like those guys who build their own planes then fly em, or like bill maher said of race car drivers once, one minute theyre here flying around an oil slicked race track at 200 mph and then the next minute theyre gone. why? it just doesnt make sense. or something like that.

i saw a sky for the first time the other day, and i gotta say it didnt have the same impact when i saw the solstice. maybe impact isnt the best choice of words...but nonetheless, it looked good but i could definately see the difference in attitudes and styling. basically, if you want a solstice i dont think youd "settle" for the sky, or vice versa. theres a more visceral or Americanness with the pontiac. the sky seems to be more refined and elegant.
