  3. Isn't there a rule that if you're trying to suggest a car for your mother to drive, then you have to mention the Camry?
  4. Oh God. My brother had a Bronco II as his first car. They were so topheavy that a slight gust of wind would send them rolling.
  5. I know Asheville has developed a reputation as a hippie/artsy college town in recent years, but I don't know much else about it. What negatives have developed that have you saying that it's suffered a bad fate?
  6. three.
  7. Alex Stepheson
  8. If by lots and lots of snow, you mean a slight chance of snow every few years, maybe. Freezing rain is more common than snow, but not a major problem, and as long as you don't live in the coastal/flood plain region, hurricanes aren't that big of a deal.
  9. unagi!
  10. Man, I love those early 60s Buicks. Such gorgeous works of art.
  11. Well, I certainly can't argue with that.
  12. I know that it took them until the 90s to do it, but the 80s Mustangs did eventually become pretty good cars. The 93 Cobra was a pretty nice car, and a good way to send out a generation that lasted way too long.
  13. Since I'm in school here, my apartment is just north of UNC's campus. John Edwards has a 100+ acre estate outside of town. He is pretty active in the community here, though. I've seen him at basketball games and church before. And as many of you may know, he did start the poverty center at UNC and teach here for a while.
  14. Indeed. I always found it funny that when people try to customize their car to make it stand out from every other (insert car here) they just ended up making it look like every other customized car out there, regardless of make or model.
  15. Maybe they're trying to be ironic?
  16. Well, you're not the only one who comes from farming stock. I come from a family of farmers. Well, that, and it reminded me of Tow-Mater.
  17. Yep. Way too good for you.
  18. Huzzah for ridiculous bargains! My dad once bought a car with spare change he found lying around the house.
  19. France
  20. Only if we get a scene where KITT is attacking/chasing after someone while taunting them mercilessly. It's Weaving's specialty.
  21. Well, once every 20 movies or so, Val Kilmer stops churning out crap and turns in a performance that will blow you away (see: Tombstone.) Maybe they thought he was due? But he was just the fallback option. Will Arnett was the guy they initially wanted, which would have kicked some serious ass.
  22. I'm guessing acting ability isn't being factored into these choices?
  23. Chalk it up to the sheer charisma of the Hoff.
