  1. LOL, the rest are just shy of revealing their (in)capabilities.
  2. Who in our group can do #2?
  3. Congrats! What is the color? Black Granite or Blue Metallic? What transmission did you get?
  4. What is the catch?
  5. Welcome and Good Luck with your ride. Happy Posting!
  6. Balthy, that is indeed a cool one.
  7. I never get tired of this..... After my Z-06 returned 26 mpg city (babying) for the 7 mile road to work. The BMW 330i cannot beat that number despite of babying the same, having 2 less cylinders, and massive 170 hp less. The both cars are 6-speed and are identical in weight (Z-06 3215 vs 330i 3250 lbs) On the highway Z-06 returned 30-31 consistently at around 77 mph. During one trip I have gotten 33 mpg, when there was tailwind on I-4 traveling from Tampa. The best I have got from the BMW is 32 with tailwind, while averaging 28-29 mpg. I wished not being in a car wreck would have saved me from giving away the Z-06.
  8. Nope. It is already there as a 2011.
  9. That strategy is called whoring out the brand. To me AMG <<< M (old one at least new M's will be whoring out too), because M actually created a whole different and unique car for individual series. The high power cars are already in high profit margins that different engines giving different personalities to the cars seems a better option. I do not want a one model engine only like the M5 V10 given the ginormous costs associated, but something like how LS7, LS9 and LSA are - base architecture is the same, hence costs are divided.
  10. Happy Birthday Sir!
  11. I personally think, given the "performance oriented" nature of ATS, 3 would be logical, given the "anemic" nature of the 3.0.

    Mother May I?

Beige Landau Top White 2010 CTS. I feel like hammering those guys.
  13. Mercedes T80 - I'll be darned.
  14. Those are Gen IV. Gen V is supposedly the 5.5L, which the Corvette has been racing for the last couple of 24LM.
  15. Mr. Lamar very happy birthday to you.
  16. What is the point again to harp back in the history? Most of us know Roger Smith was not concerned with that. His idea was to bring profits while building W-bodies, which were beancountered. For him building performance oriented or fun factor cars were not a priority. What has been bygone let it be bygone. With ATS it is better late than never, and if it takes GM to be 25 years late, so be it. ATS like someone said before is first platform post bankruptcy as you said, wait before you make any comments. But sometimes hypocrisy takes priority for you. You do not even know the performance numbers of the new M5, which is yet to be out. Do you think GM is just gonna tap dance after the new M5 comes out? You know not everybody is snob like you. I would save that $30k for a good investment than buy something for badge snobbery.
  17. Past experience is irrelevant to the future. CTS-V took only two iterations to dry the throats of German competitors in terms of performance. There is no string attached in the ATS from the past GM, if you do not have faith it would be wise to just keep quiet and observe.

    Mother May I?

A Blue exterior and Blue Interior Impala SS from the 60's. A red 1970's El Camino. A 1950's GMC Pickup. A Ford Fairlane. No clue what year.
  19. The body part that a hat protects does not create near much problems as the body part an underwear protects.
  20. If I believe you, then for $10 it is worth a try. Heck that is 10 $1 bills less in the the G-strings whose bearers cannot be touched or played with.
  21. I think there are only 5 as of now. MI requires all the shebang.
  22. That is a great deal. How is Civ 4? I have not played Civ since II. I prefer RTS like Empire Earth or AOE - too bad EE got f@#ked up and is dead and AOE was f@#ked in the third iteration. The only turn based RTS I prefer is Chess
