Is driver chivalry dead?
God bless you, every one. You don't need to know how to do a complete teardown on your engine or win the Laguna Seca, but American drivers need to posess the ability to recognize when an automobile isn't functioning properly, how it would affect that vehicle's performance, and how to cope with it. People in general also need to know how to judge the dimensions and performance capabilites of their vehicles in all conditions.

Nissan sales slump short-lived: Ghosn
I would say the only two truly crappy Nissan products are the QX56 and Sentra - the former is a bloated, overpriced pig and the latter is just a poor compact. Quite a few have crappy aspects (Quest's dash, Titan's looks, FX35's exhuast note, Altima's debut interior), but so do cars from everyone.

Bastage...you're not supposed to look where I looked. :P He's right, though.

Mercedes G-Class stays in production
Add to that argument the fact the proposed new G-Class looked pretty much like a larger version of the M-Class or a shorter, trimmer version of the R-Class, or bigger, fuller version of the B-Class. The original G-Class is surprisingly original in a Mercedes lineup filled with small/medium/large selections. Still, not my cup o' tea.

The Ultimate Badgejob
This automobile line spanned nearly twenty years yet was never an original car. At different points in its life, it was a rebadged GM J-body, Subaru Legacy, and Honda Accord. What is it?

Mercedes G-Class stays in production
Honestly, I store things in boxes, not drive them. But that's me.

Investors Say GM Must Off One Brand
Here's the question: Okay, you 'off' SAAB...kill it, sell it, donate it, whatever. How much benefit does that provide?

Honda Recalls 90k; Suzuki 325k
So...this actually would affect JDM Odyssies only, right? Since the US market van doesn't have a CVT... In a related note...the Suzuki Mr. Wagon.

Isuzu Impulse
Yeah. That's about the worst aspect of the SVX, which says alot because its a sharp car. With gullwing doors, the necessity of cutout windows is obvious, but here its done for styling.

Should Pontiac make a 4-cylinder G6 Coupe?
Why not? And, yes, with a stick.

What bankruptcy would mean to GM
Agreed very much, though not necessarily on the Mercury end. I can Mercury attaining stability and brand-growth very soon, but at the heavy expense of Lincoln. I'll be so audacious to say that one day Lincoln may exist within Mercury offering one or two models like the Navigator and Town Car successor, much like the Geo/Chevrolet relationship though on the other end of the spectrum. I really don't see much financial or marketing sense in pouring money into the sieve that is Lincoln. Its a brand with little cache, little cash, no identity, and vehicles that are either completely unappealing or decent if you ignore the cheaper Mercury variant (Zephyr vs. Milan, Mountaineer vs. Aviator). How many new Lincolns have you seen on the roads? How many Zephyrs? Mark LTs?

Obsure Engine
But isn't 'the 3800' pretty much a universal answer to any engine question? :P

Is GM an "Honest" Company . . .
I think that ignores the fact that the US and Canada are very symbiotic economies. I've never heard anyone mention, "Damn Canucks are taking our jobs" or "I'll die before I drive a car built in Canada."

Is GM an "Honest" Company . . .
Toyota and Honda salesmen tend to be infamously arrogant. There's a big difference between believing the best in your product and simply trashing the competition. I've had a Buick sales rep tell me how a Terraza is quieter, has a longer warranty, and has more range than a Toyota Sienna while admitting the Sienna is a fine vehicle while I've had a Toyota rep tell me how Ford, Chrysler, and GM minivans are all junk and most people who buy them "don't do the research and are suckered."

???
Earlier prototypes and pre-pro Deloreans had sliding side windows that were replaced in production with the little tollboth windows like Nick posted.

Isuzu Impulse
Godawful wheels as they are simply too 80s. However, otherwise, a slick car.

Obsure Engine
Eh. Why not? The 3800.
