LaNeve: We still haven't made up the business
My response was based on the general impression of the cars formulated by the public and the auto press at large. I realize the cars are 90% exactly alike otherwise...so...yeah...chill...

Drawing parallels between the Media plotting against GM and lynchings and the holocaust? At one time I thought you were better than that. Guess you win the bet. You have opinions, fine, but learn some tact.- Volkswagen Passat
Oh, sweet Jesus, cut the crap already. Its not a coupe. Losers. Why not build a real two-door Passat? VW has already wasted copious amounts of time, effort, and money on W8 Passats and the Phaeton, so why not waste some of the aforementioned on a car that could be cool?- What to do?
There's a point at which I stop trying to convince people. Honestly, me moving certain people into a domestic would be like someone trying to move me into a Camry or Avalon (which has been tried).- The Signature/Avatar Test Thread
Czech-mate.- Challenger Uncovered
There is a massive difference among heritage influences (Ventiports, vertical taillamps), retro styling traits (Thunderbird, HHr), and mindlessly cribbing something straight from the past without significantly changing anything, which is what this thing is.- How old are you?
Where's Harry when we need him? I miss him mocking C&G because of its low average age, then cursing, then acting immature himself. It was mildly entertaining.- The Signature/Avatar Test Thread

How is the wind noise, top up vs top down? And how many stares have you gotten so far? :D- Car and Driver - 10Best
From my view, it boils down to whether you like to go fast or go fast and have everyone stare at you. If you like the attention, Mustang is the way to go. If you want more of a sleeper, the GTO is where its at. No doubt a sharp-colored Mustang GT 'vert turns more heads, but a GTO probably wouldn't get the cops on you quite as fast - after all, that was just another Grand Prix coupe shooting past, right? I do like the Mustang, though, my biggest gripe being those godawful headrests, especially how they look in the convertibles. Just diff' strokes.- Doing a marketing project...need some help
I bet that's not the only thing that's up, Reg.- Car and Driver - 10Best
You get what you pay for in terms of equipment level and refinement, IMO.- Car and Driver - 10Best
Yet the Mustang and RX-8 are here...- Challenger Uncovered
That too. C'mon, guys, everyone has their opinion. No need for attitudes.- Challenger Uncovered

This is the third-worst Chrysler concept of recent memory, right behing the Super 8 and Kahuna.- Are we on the eve of something great...
Does...this mean people will shut up about the Charger sedan finally?- Spot the error!
And as true as that may be, GM has still manufactured a variety of cars with sticks. Should there be more? Sure, in some models, but the fact is most cars that would sell with them had them.- I Drove a 2006 DTS for Three Days
I still think GM has handled torque steer management pretty well. I can easily engage wide-open throttle in my Aurora hands-off and track pretty darn straight. I can even do it in my dad's SSEi, though it makes alot more ruckus. Drive a Nissan to feel torque steer.- Honda's Odyssey remains top minivan in fuel econ
Buying any Toyota hybrid mainly for the fuel economy gain is pretty foolish, especially if you have a car that's already paid off even if that car's a large SUV. Simply drive less or buy a cheap, beater commuter car. Even a new commuter car is a better value. And if you really do want to maximize your fuel mileage and environmental karma, then just buy a Honda Insight and be happy. Those and the old EV1s are about as real an economy commuter car as you can get - small, adequate power output, lightweight, very aerodynamic, a nice a/c and stereo system, power functions, and that's it. Priuses are psychological. Insights get the job done. - GMNA to Undergo Major Capacity Reduction
