  1. Yep. Pretty much done with most European cars. Still like some basic VW's but for Luxury vehicles, no thank you please.
  2. I am trying to take really good care of mine. Vintage iron autocrossing.
  3. More ICE goodness.... Or anywhere else...
  4. Jeep E bike, might be a good companion to a Wrangler for me. https://quietkat.com/product/2020-jeep-bike/ ICE love in the thread....
  5. Just for fun
  6. Friend/co workers family custom ordered a hugger orange Monte Carlo from Chevrolet about 1970.....I think the rust monster eventually ate it, but on the road and lots of fun for several decades. I actually like some of the plainer cars of the sixties better than their upmarket cousins.
  7. These were damn fine cars. I had a good friend, a fellow woodworker, who owned one for years. Ran over a quarter of a million miles pretty much trouble free. Chrysler does what Toyota can't, build genuinely appealing vehicles. Even the Minivan in this detailing video has a lot more charm than most modern Toyota products. My cats are inside much more., I want the regular Bronco, but this will be a good little 'ute!
  8. They have ctually grown on me quite a bit. Doubt I will ever own one...but neat.
  9. I cant figure out what car is burning at the 37 second mark....any ideas?
  10. A beautifully detailed late model Escalde rolls up to ones of the Lowes I frequent sometimes when i am there....ladder racks and guy sues it to haul concrete. Go figure. and it's like a two year old Escalate, not like a twelve year old one.
  11. Impressive cleanup of an Escalade, not sure how people elt their cars get that crappy.
  12. Rivian looks amazing. "Blu wouldn't settle for a crappy ICE, why should you settle for a crappy EV? Get what you want!
  13. Our inability to think clearly about any major issue as a society is much more of a problem than the Virus itself.
  14. I don't think you are the target demographic. Metrosexual urban yuppies who are foodies with identically decorated condo's in identical buildings who live identical bland and unremarkable urban lives are. It might do well in that segment. The bland transportation pods we all have been dreading. At some point, cities without cars, where everyone bikes or uses public transport, might be the way to go. This thing is bland and souless enough to make me wish that day a reality.
  15. There is nothing "beautiful" in the market segment, regardless of MAZDA and it's endless youtube advertising trying endlessly to sell me a CX-5.
  16. All 3 have zero appeal to me personally. But I hope VW does well. This should be more comfortable and more nicely packaged than the Honda or Toyota in my opinion. I want to go back to third grade when Big Pontiacs ruled the road....everything since has been a disappointing anticlimax. If one thinks of "Climax" in sexual terms, this V Dub is about as Sexy as the meditation of a celibate Buddhist monk. ...and still a full three feet shorter than her Shrek like husband. She's absolutely beautiful, David doesn't realize what a lucky dude he is., A forgettable CUV for a forgettable market segment. Can we go back to being an enthusiast platform... or to ask the question another way...what does THAT celibate Buddhist monk feel when he runs his hands over dashboard plastic?
  17. I ate lunch outside, it was fantastic. I need this as a driveway mate to the Ranger I think... Or a Fox body like this one...
  18. Or skip all of the above and buy a Wrangler.
  19. Maybe the rain can put out or prevent some wildfires.
  20. They were an absolute hoot. I think my missing small nimble cars and the fun I had autocrossing is why I am now finding myself interested in off roading or other vehicular adventures. Because the small nimble cars are never coming back. I don't see why the average modern human would want either of the two. That being said, Daughters boyfriend has a modded 350 that I find beautiful.
  21. This makes me incredibly sad, because I realize what all we have lost. We are more likely to get an interesting car out of Mercury, Studebaker or Kaiser at this point than out of Nissan.
  22. Lifted and rolling on 44's rolling coal!
  23. On a positive note, great day here in Columbus.
  24. Actually I think the Roman face looks Badass. In some ways I like it better than the Gladiator, and am crushing hard on the Gladiator at the moment.
