I had a co worker with 430K on an S10 Blazer that was lifted running big tires since new....IIRC he sold it just short of half a million miles, no real issues other than suspension parts. In all fairness on the suspension parts he did wheel the truck. Was the second gen, more rounded S10 Blazer. Notice how they almost dump the 4 runner at the 9 minute mark, good wheeling video. Kind of an epic video, love how the newer fullsize Chevy and older F150 make Cameo appearances, and get to go out and play with the Jeeps. Also, the term, "I will love you till the wheels fall off" reflects how I feel about my wife. I do need to get rid of the front mount externally mounted spare tire though....she would like that. And Blu has helped me in keeping thirty pounds off...on Facebook...he jokingly told me I would never keep it off...every time I think of eating something I shouldn't, Blu's ghost shows up....reminding me of that...

Interactive Review: 2020 Lexus RX 350L Lux
A Horse With No Name replied to William Maley's topic in Reviews
Just a quic question, paint quality on several of the recent Lexus I ahve lookjed at doesn;'t seem quite up to par for a vehicle of the caliber. How was the actual paint quality on your test vehicle? Thanks! Chris- 5 replies

Let's not loose sight on all of the fun things one can do with a truck, electric or gas or deisel...or powered by unicorn farts... Would love to make this road trip in my Ranger. More cool adventure, this time in a Hilux in the Darien area of Panama, which I am currently infatuated with. ...and music about being out in the country...although given my desire to see new things, this might as well be "out of the country"

Love both the Cutty and the GTO, Ram builds fantastic looking trucks, infinitely better than the dated and pug-ish Tundra.

Congrats

Oddly enough...after not seeing anything interesting for like forever...was out running errands in my Ranger...and .. 56 Chevy 4 door 69 Thunderbird 4 door 59 Chevy sedan delivery 72 Chevelle SS Watched at E46 M3 rear end a Dodge minivan Saw a late model Ram pickup that seemed to have a dead cat....a real dead cat... permanently mounted as a good ornament. Not making that one up...but odd.

I am not worried about price. I think the tech is cool and the vehicle is cool. I will never own one...I will never own a supercharged 39 Graham or a Range Rover Evoque either... doesn't keep me from thinking all 3 vehicles are hella cool. Agreed...but we have been building infrastructure and supply chain support for ICE for 130 years...ICE has a bit of a head start. Adjusted for inflation a 56 Ford F100 is s about 17 grand...I will take one of those please.

I would get the longer version. Usually I break down lumber at the sawmill into oversize parts of what I want to build. Then I plane and Joint the lumber in my shop. But good point as I would want it long enough to sleep inside. I seriously dislike the other small cargo vans on the market so Transit connect is the only game in town here. If I do need to move fill length lumber I have the Ranger or easy access to several friends with F150's. And if I need a bunch of lumber...both Kiem lumber and 5th Ave lumber will happily deliver any order over $500. They will build cheaper trucks with time. Or even something the size of the original S10.

The 1970's Jeep J10 was a nice size, as was the 80's Cherokee based pickup truck. My wife would feel more comfortable driving that than a Gladiator. Just looked at the review of this....skip ahead to 3:04 or so. The tailgate now swings up....I could see this for camping, seriously. Set up a nice little table and be out of the rain and elements. Also, in blue, people would be less likely to think of me as a creeper. Comacne size would be perfect. Nicely modified by one of my favorite youtube guys...

This is one of my favorite Youtuibe channels. He always explains things with such clairity. Disagree on the 3.5 V6, I do not mind the exhaust note. And it is damn efficient....friend's F150 crew cab towing a loaded trailer to colorado got over 25 going out, over 27 coming back with trailer unlaoded. Small/midsize SUV mileage out of a capable full size is a huge win. Embarassing thing about the Raptor is it is too wide to fit through any of the local full service car washes I prefer, so i actually would take a Colorado ZR2 in the Gorgeous bespoke Sand Dune metallic....badass! But I still like this as well.
