  1. I just like the picture... I need another Miata.
  2. Old E30 M3 Veloser N is one of those cars that si far more than the sum of its parts.... I still want another Miata... Looks good in blue... You knew I was going to post a Miata pic, right? I love Audi styling, great picture...
  3. I miss full size American wagons... Resting Road Runner... Just liked the photograph for no apparent reason... http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6101/6259120078_9844022ef0_b.jpg http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6101/6259120078_9844022ef0_b.jpg Lincoln....
  4. I did also. Looking at used GC...5000 pound tow rating does a lot. Killing a bit of time on a thanksgiving morning...one more McLaren...posting a bunch in the beautiful cars thread...really like this picture, so i am posting it here.
  5. Going the other way, McLaren...
  6. I want to video tape that and put it on youtube.
  7. Ford is good for Trucks and Mustangs. Even as many Explorers as they sell....the Kia Telluride is kicking it's ass sales wise. Look at the inventory....like 30,000 Explorers sitting on dealer lots, very, very few Tellurides. Same thing on down the line. Genesis G90 is way way way ahead of the Lincoln continental in terms of a luxury sedan, which is why the Conti has been discontinued. Ford....I have an obvious love hate relationship with them. But there are ways they really need to pull their head out fo their ass.
  8. I actually really like the Wrangler in that trim, like a Wrangler Willys edition white with black wheels and black trim. Have thought hard about making the next vehicle white, as I want to do some off road and back wood driving. White is the easiest color to blend and repair in a body shop, or so I am told. maybe "Blu can chime in on that. And if someone were to buy something like a Tacoma, F series, Silverado, Ranger, Colorado or the like in white....so many commercial trucks are sold white. Bend or dent something off road and i bet you could find ready to go replacement panels cheap off of a wrecked commercial truck and not ahve to worry about paint matching. But then again, we have very different needs when it comes to vehicles. White also seems to blend in a bit, so I could also see a brighter, more unusual color to make you stand out...
  9. Neat advert...
  10. My dad had one of these...

  11. Robert, I will disagree with you on one thing...I do like the GC in white, and see very, very few in white here in Columbus. Might be a regional dealer ordering thing?
  12. Trackhawk in that green looks entirely badass... The maroon is nice also as a Trackhawk... Slate Blue is a good color on this, and available in lower trims, liket he Limited. But given any combination outside of the green...make mine Sting grey trailhawk. Also, the Sting Grey is similar to Ford's Cacus grey, and available on gladiator and Wrangler also. For comparison, Green on trailhawk... And amazingly, the red is not obnoxious on the trailhawk, but not a color I would order this in.
  13. Mercury Jaguar Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
  14. Notice the White Mustang in back...
  15. "Blu I will see you one good looking Mustang and raise you one good looking Mustang....your move... Thunderbird... Beautiful even in Death... LOVE he old Dodge truck in the background... Convertible...I remember seeing 57 Chevy convertibles in Junkyards even as a kid... Not 4 sale......are they ever?
  16. You are inspiring me to get some of my projets done.
  17. Monster
  18. Now if I could just get that in a bse trim, I might pay a visit to my local jeep dealer with checkbook in hand. yeah, but almost too pretty to take off road. But yes, drop dead gorgeous.
  19. https://fordauthority.com/2020/11/lincoln-ranked-dead-last-in-consumer-reports-annual-reliability-report/ Echoes what I have heard elsewhere. I know consumer reports should be taken with a grain of salt, but where there is smoke there is fire. And dead last is a sad place to be.
  20. I always love oil changes, car seems to run a bit better afterwards, Looking forward to teh first oil change in the Ranger, which will happen at 5000 miles. abouit 3,250 now. Getting 25.4 lifetime MPG out of it. Not bad for a truck tht sees a lot of boost out of the Ecoboost. I can't understand why this is so much more fuel efficent than the multiple Escapes I have had as rentals, that struggle to get 23-24 on flat level highway trips. I hear the current gen Escape is much better from a fuel economy standpoint. The Grand Cherokee grows more and more on me all of the time. I have several good dealerships around me, and that is one of the reasons I bought the Ranger. We actually built the dealership I bought the Ranger at when I was working as an electrician for one of my former employers. Not perfect, but good people that want to make things right by customers. I never like letting them go the full 10,000 miles. Near zero engine issues, over multiple vehicles, and I change oil religiously.
  21. Its why I have AAA. When I had a company van with a spare tire like this, someon else spent two hours getting it free when it was iced up in sub zero conditions. My wife brought a hot chocolate and a sandwich and I sat with her in our heated car and watched. SS is probably my favorite ride of yours. Got the timing belt changed on the aveo, it runs much better. replaced the serpentine belt as well. They do that religiously here in Ohio. thankfully I think I have a good decade or so on the Ranger before it starts. I don't even need ran to duck work, usually it's just a good book to read, and a warm cat in my lap. Work is done for the day.
  22. Rare genetic mutation.
  23. Agree entirely with you here.
  24. Yeah. for those of us who like color...it might make the difference on buying a Jeep or not buying a Jeep. Neat how things change over time. I love old maps. Proving that yes, Pigs do fly. Not one of Mercury's better designs. Hard to think the same folks that brought us the gorgeous 49 Mercury also brought us this. Fuel economy is important in any adventure vehicle, as getting away from society (and by extension, gas stations0 is part of the allure. Hauling more fuel in jerry cans or stoppin more often for fuel doesn't add to the trip.
