  1. I will still respect you in the morning if you are sarcastic. Lord knows I am at times myself!
  2. Probably because the return on investment would not be there. Most Wrangler buyers are very traditional in what they want. I see them more often in Columbus than vintage American Iron.
  3. Damn...saw a Hellcat Charger and a sweet C class Benz...both awesome cars...and all you guys can do is beat each other up over sales figures? You sound like a couple of geriatric bankers who drive clapped out W body Impalas for fun...
  4. If you honestly disagree with me say so! I do not have a vagina made of glass like some other guys who post here.
  5. Plus the Bolt is arguably a better car. Also, GM is eleven billion times more financially stable than Musk and his house of cards. ATS and CTS are doing just fine. Cadillac going all EV would disenfranchise the buyers who still want traditional cars.
  6. Don't think they could get the price premium...besides...Volt... Except that Cruze diesel sells for a premium price.
  7. Seems rational. They will be lucky to build fifty thousand model 3 Tesla's.
  8. Dodge trucks of the era were lookers also, and that 318 was a decent V8.
  9. That is every thread here....in a good way and bad way both... Given their financial situation...people should get out while they ahve a chance. Owning an orphan car where one cannot get parts or service is no fun at all.. Three years from now, when FCA is in deep crap and Tesla is in deeper crap, people can go to that site when it is converted to Jo Ann fabrics to buy yarn and knitting supplies...
  10. That is the era of trucks I like...late 70's dodge 4WD truck at the gas station this morning when I was getting a cup of Coffee....loved the look of that Truck.... 70's Ford square body look is one of the best looks ever on a pickup truck IMHO!
  11. I actually really like old pickup trucks...were that old F150 still alive, I might just drive to new Jersey and buy it off of you,.
  12. Not to mention Americans are no longer small people. Was reading a book on the Manhattan project in WW 2 that had several photographs of people from the 1940's... Americans have grown exponentially since then... Again, zero sum game....Mercedes cannot be great if someone else is also great, so shame everyone else...entirely irrational.
  13. Funny...but not going to happen. Personally I like premium small cars, but premium small cars are not in GM's corporate DNA.
  14. The whole thread is a parody actually... Indeed... Unsure really myself of what is going on at Cadillac. My daughter and I had some time to kill so we stopped in at a local Cadillac dealer that is attached to a Benz dealer. Cadillac dealer was dead, one poorly dressed and seemingly Asperger's aflicted couple looking at a car...Benz dealer was packed with customers, many of them young and attractive.
  15. Like the Pontiac Aztec, this thing will sell on style alone! Given how the ELR sold, maybe a decade any ways.
  16. Tesla sill has enormous cash flow issues. I will be impressed if they build a hundred thousand cars in 2022.
