  1. This is Ohio....you will probably see a 370 Z with a gun rack and a deer on the hood...quarter panels flapping in the breeze from rust....as Camino said...the rolling junkyards of Ohio....!
  2. Your sheep is of buying the Honda Accord coupe in the other thread....
  3. 370Z is very dated product...nothing says celibate Asian teenager living in LA and a video game addict like driving that car....because that is the last group to cheer for it...Asian males who are completely unable to win over the fair sex...
  4. Honda does build the NSX, but they sell like 20 a month...There are far more Camaros and Mustangs, Corvettes and the like sold every day.... Agreed....although the stupid runs deep with modern car buyers.
  5. The real era of interesting Japanese automotive products really started to come to an end about 2002 or 2003. Since then, Honda/Nissan/Toyota/Kia/Hyundai have been largely building vehicles that make a 2003 Ford Crown Vic look almost pornographic in how attractive it is. I still like Subaru and Mazda, but the rest of the Asian cars have become wildly uninteresting. I doubt Honda at the moment really cars about anything more than cheap leases and the smell of slightly rotten sushi in the company cafeteria.
  6. No really given that Honda is just behind Nissan in cheap leases and getting clueless twenty somethings and thirty somethings in the door to buy their entirely bland and uninteresting product...they will probably ship them to a third world country just like they do with obsolete clothing for sports teams and junk computer parts. My apologies to people living in the other 49 states and Canada that Ohio seems to be the source of this cesspool of automotive mediocrity...
  7. I actually expect Tesla to implode and mismanage itself before it passes 120,000 cars a year. Dead man walking...
  8. Audi R8 and Viper would be my first two pics... Porsche Carerra GT would be a third...
  9. He transferred over to Facebook, where most of his posts seem rather political in nature.
  10. Too bad Camino is not still around.
  11. Exactly. And outside of the Mustang, not terribly thrilled with any of Ford's Chassis tuning.
  12. I hear ya...spent all day Sunday in mine,w as fantastic....nothing like the radio and tools to soothe the soul... Hopefully the frame on the 63 is still good...
  13. Enough to make a non crossover guy like me consider them...fantastic looking actually...
  14. Love the shot of the 62 Grand Prix. I thought about a 507.
  15. My sister owned a couple of Preludes back in the day, they were cool cars. I don't understand the need for everyone to like the same cars...I like a little bit of everything... ...but I could care less if everyone liked what I did...
  16. Things are cyclical. I don't understand the worshipping of sales numbers without actual affection for cars. The last full size American station wagons rolled off the line decades ago...I love them...by the logic here I should give that up and love me a Honda CR-V. Damn, I feel better now...was looking at an auto cross prepped 08 Miata for a similar amount...when a modified Miata sells for more than an S class...hmmm...
  17. Agreed....Malibu is much nicer than the Accord also. Pretty much a human thought dilemma...we get comfortable and unwilling to try different things.
  18. Quoted for Truth...! To quote PT Barnum, there is one born every minute....which explains a lot about the popularity of certain car brands... I have already made my feelings about Ford perfectly clear here...and yes, Audi would be my pick here over Benz....or Ford... But it is Friday...everyone get something cold and refreshing to drink and listen to some music or something. Trying to take a chill pill myself.
  19. Here is hoping competition. I like Honda better than Ford or Nissan, but am kind of out of love with the brand.
  20. I don't buy a car to follow the crowd, so I would agree. I am going to argue with you on the Maxima here. I find that it feels cheap, even in higher trim levels. Q50 also is a car one would be forced to love in terms of styling IMHO.
  21. I will happily switch from an Accord coupe into a good forty or fifty other cars, no sweat.
  22. ATS V in all fairness is a very small portion of the sales.
