  1. That would be three of us... But you knew you were probably moving back to the Midwest...
  2. It is not like they lack for ATP...but that is OK...more Sales for Tesla and company...
  3. When I was working in Atlanta a few years ago my wife and kids came down to visit me...I told them not to wear black or dark colors. Being the "rebellious teenager" phase...a couple of them chose to wear black... They were miserable. Common sense is not so common.
  4. Actually here in Ohio the police seem to arrest people here on a pretty regular basis for the whole texting and driving thing. A lot of the accidents I see seem to be from just basic impatience...
  5. My neighborhood is as full of them as dandelions in the spring... I prefer the color matched as well...
  6. Maybe it will get hit by lightening alter this week... Ohio MINI drivers are smart enough (as a general rule) to avoid large vehicles and running into them...Must be a Washington State thing...!
  7. Also, Buick, Ford, Lincoln, Chevrolet, Ram all above average...so much for American cars being unreliable!
  8. Fair enough...and quite the range! I would buy an FCA product before I would buy a Benz...
  9. A Bravada might be a worthwhile vehicle to keep around. Nieces and nephews will need something to drive and learn on if they are approaching the 14-15 year old age...
  10. Americans resemble my cat chasing a laser pointer more every day... Good riddance if the Excursion was a goner as well...
  11. Expensive but a damned nice truck!
  12. The 911 and MINI are two of my all time favorites, glad to see them do well on this list.
  13. I have been looking at used F150's and Silverados. We both could use a pickup truck like we could use oxygen. So very happy we did not get the Civic SI with our last car purchase....I am not a fan of Honda in many ways.
  14. Jeep GC would be my choice 100 percent... A larger vehicle would make sense in so many ways....and you could get rid of the Honda...
  15. Like I said, car shopping with a significant other makes life interesting. I really liked the Regal and LaCrosse but my wife did not. For the $34K this costs I would be buying John Cooper Works MINI or saving a little bit of coin and getting a Golf R. Regal would also I think have better sound deadening than the Stinger....I like listening to Music when I drive, this is a real consideration for me. Also entering into the Calculus...GM has much better paint and rust proofing than KIA IMHO....living in Ohio....that would be a consideration. But with my youngest a Junior in High school this year....and probably going away to college when she graduates...I think I have bought my last practical car. MINI JCW FTW, I think...
  16. Personally a huge part of me would rather have the Stinger...it a fresh idea rather than a remake of a fifty years old one. If it is enough cheaper than a three series I could see cross shopping... especially if you are like me and have three kids in College.
  17. I don't even play guitar but want to try some different acoustic guitar designs...
  18. Because a whole lot of people voted for him knowing exactly the kind of person he was. Clinton and Trump are both hideous...she remained married to Bill who was just as much of a predator as Donald. I am in that awkward position where I remember the hostage crisis very clearly... But find myself highly jealous of Iran for being governed by actual adults, even if they are religious fanatics... Would honestly feel pretty much the same way if Clinton had won... Off political...too much fun with cars, woodworking, my family... Will have car pics of the Beetle and woodworking pics at some point...
  19. See, I was an electrician ad a foreman and ran projects. Bad things happen in companies regardless of what they are with no chain of command. If people want steady employment a chain of command is a must have. Firm, fair, and friendly can go a long way. But I also do not go to work to socialize.
  20. Ohhhhhhhhh I can absolutely agree. I would have gone this route if we had wanted a larger car. This actually is one of my favorite new cars.
  21. I think it will be a different sort of buyer all together.
  22. Mocking irrational thinking is wonderful... Saw a blue 911 on the way into work... also have seen several JCW MINI Cooper out and about today.
  23. You seem friendly enough to me...
  24. Sad...I always liked that era of Bonneville.
  25. What was that a Bonneville? Almost looks like it was used by the fire department for some kind of rescue training.
