  1. Also...if VW can take the MK 6 Jetta a car that usually sells for 20K, and make it much better in terms of crash test safety,...Musk and his team can do the same thing with a 100K S.
  2. Agree completely, and people here will throw a fit if I bring home a BRZ to replace my MINI. That being said, a fox body Mustang really would be best as a heavily modified autocross or track car. I had one of the Fox body Mustangs back in the day...Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble would pass on it given its primitive construction and the crash test safety of a Balsa Wood model airplane. But a Fox body Mustang would be amazing to own.. Also could see it as a weekend cruiser...always did like the seven up convertibles... Sad... Bonus..
  3. Exactly. I love competition and the free amrket, it raises a lot of boats...and keeps people on their toes.
  4. We used to Have Alfa guys bring out Alfa Sedans similar to that to our local autocrosses....that brings back amazing memories for me actually.
  5. My list... 1920's-1930's-blower Bentley, 55 built-5 racing cars, 50 homologation cars... 1950's, Gull wing Mercedes.... 1960's Iso Grifo.....even comes with GM power! 1970's, bicentennial Cadillac convertible, one of the last 200 full size Cadillac convertibles made... I love the Jag F type, but it kind of has been over done in the Dream car garage series...picking an AMG GT S instead...
  6. Seems like it would be an enjoyable party.
  7. Love all of your choices but especially the Bentley.
  8. The 67 was by far the best. I am a sucker for cars of the era like the Eldorado, Charger, Couger, RS Camaro, Lincoln, et al with hideaway headlights. Also have a fetish for all black cars so combine the two...
  9. Electric cars combined with electric trains would be a fantastic combination. Would also like to own a bolt.
  10. I am fortunate to work with some really smart people.
  11. Ohhhhhhhhh well I took it as positive!
  12. That Eldorado is just drop dead gorgeous. Love the photography in that shot also! Cord is the one I would most want to own of that bunch. Very fond memories of that era of Lincoln also.
  13. The problem is that stupidity and malice are not mutually exclusive.
  14. I am adding more circuits toy garage and am leaving space for 220 for a charger. I definitely see an electric car in my future.
  15. Luxury GT coupes absolutely count! All of your selections were off the charts good...but that Jag of all things is pure automotive Lust for me!
  16. As a non SUV guy I tend to put all smaller SUV's into the same lump...sorry my error. CX3 is very appealing...I just could not walk into a Mazda dealer as a buyer and not drive out with a Miata... Encore is hugely appealing. If it had more power, I would want to own one I think. HRV is very appealing also. Renegade would still probably be my choice...I tend to like vehicles that are a little over the top, and Renegade definitely is that. Fiat 500X is not bad looking, but I would choose its Jeep cousin.
  17. If he can make a go of it you might well see a 3 in my driveway in a few years to replace the Cooper S. I wish him the best! I heard Don't fear the reaper in concert with my son...amazing song!
  18. Saw a blue Convertible of that same year on my way to the pool on the 4th... The whole Cadillac lineup looks fantastic...and they must be picking up sales, because they are starting to become as common as sand on the seashore here in Columbus. Not that I mind, in any way!
  19. I was talking about buyers in general. I do like the Renegade....a lot. But I think I ultimately woudl buy something else...
  20. Rules for this one are simple....5 choices....but must be five different decades. Must be generally recognizable as a luxury car. A lotus Elise does not qualify. That's all she wrote for rules. A decade is 1960-1969, 1970-1979, etc... Interested to see what you all come up with.
  21. Nice to see vintage iron on your list frisky...also like the addition of the Camaro...it needs more love around here, I think.
  22. Could not agree more! I could totally see an EV in our family. it would make infinite sense.
