Interesting, so to flash a transmission in the Malibu, all one would have to do is wake up sport mode?

Pretty damned violent for a Canadian!

And even then the Lancer is extremely bland and dated.

All of them are entirely lustworthy IMHO. Were I in a slightly different state of life, I would be looking at that rather than a GTI, ST, or WRX for my next car. I adore the styling direction Buick is going, but my wife and I both want a manual transmission for the next car. The Fiat is a darned nice little roadster.

April 2017: General Motors Co.
A Horse With No Name replied to William Maley's topic in Sales Figure Ticker
Ohh I love the 1970's Cadillac products...80's left a few things to be desired, i would say more like 20 years. CTS was the real mark of change when it came out. Interestingly enough, a lot more positive press and a lot bigger splash with the CTS than the new Conti had in its wildest dreams... Agree with this...visually Cadillac just nails it IMHO....they and Audi...love the styling on both.- 20 replies

They may ahve been out of Tesla loaners.

Of course they are ranked highly, the product is fantastic...which is why I hope like crazy they survive. The reality addict in me says that odds are not entirely in their favor.

...and exactly why it makes sense to market something with that kind of capital outlay as a Nissan and not a Mitsubishi.

Which is why it is absurd that SMK is suggesting that they sell a fully equipped sedan that is up to the date in the market as a full EV at that price.

At the very least. Hence my concerns over cash flow.

If GM, whcih is larger and mroe efficient that Mitsu by an order of magnitude....cannot sell athe Bolt in that price range...why would Mitsu be able to do so? GM is still loosing money on every Bolt...would loosing more money per car help Mitsu?

...and more people will wander in and buy something. Look, i want Tesla to succeed as much as the next person. They just have a long ways to go to hit the tipping point of being profitable. If they ever do hit that point, and become more mainstream, Katy bar the door...they will make money hand over fist. However I think there is substantial risk of serious financial issues or collapse before that happens.
