  1. The new Impreszza is fantastic, and Subaru builds wonderful cars, glad to see them doing so well.
  2. As someone who dearly loves the F type, this is music to my ears.
  3. It would have to be a complete refresh, the outgoing Mazda 5 had the crash worthiness of a leftover popcorn bag from a cinema.
  4. I guess building cars in China pays after all...
  5. Yes it does....had two fer on Monday (yesterday) of sorts...saw an Impala LTZ with a cranberry exterior and a saddle-ish interior, very nice color combo...and then a few minutes alter saw a mid 1970's Monte Carlo with a very similar color combo.
  6. Off a few thousand units for the year but rolling right along. One can make interesting Vanilla ice cream, one cannot build an interesting Hyundai.
  7. Gm is positioned very very well. They are focusing on their core values and product right when other companies are giving that up. The current Impala is proof of that IMHO...best large sedan dollar for dollar on the planet.
  8. Pure EV F150 will not sell well in areas where buyers have the intellectual curiosity of a bar of soap, which is most of the country where F150 sells. Might do well in an urban market though...ford would do better with an EV ecosport or something.
  9. Cadillac is not resting on its laurels, and I love Ms. Barra as president of GM.
  10. I would rather ahve a Bolt or a Tesla 3, designed from the ground up as an all electric vehicle.
  11. Sounds like with a few more vehicles you will need a full time mechanic and a fleet manager, along with a building to store everything in.
  12. Maybe common sense exists in our country after all....
  13. I am enjoying driving my Mini Cooper S, which is paid for and has been for several years. But it is almost 15 years old, I do need to do something.
  14. Not a bad month for them given the market.
  15. Probably true on the service van part of the story. Cruze is doing very well.
  16. Glad to see the Miata and their crossovers doing well, the three is way down...
  17. True, but they sell a lot of trucks in the mix... Good time for me to be buying a replacement car for my TDI I sold back. Wonder what incentives will look like by August if things don't change?
  18. Operational costs like insurance are also going through the roof, Modern cars are very expensive to repair when damaged, and injury costs are very high also. Couple that with a society that loves to sue, and we will see what happens.
  19. We are running out of cheap credit, and we ahve not (either party) elected adults to leadership roles in Washington, things could get interesting.
  20. Toyota car down 14 percent is not a strong performance either. Now, if you could just film the pounding Lexus is getting and market it as a Porn film, you could make a lot of money...just sayin....
  21. They still need crossovers, SUV's and better /more suited to USA market products. Sadly, VW execs seem to ahve a tin ear to this issue.
  22. Three brands I really like, Audi, Cadillac and Buick all doing well. VW is still sucking wind after the TDI scandal even though sales are up slightly. Wonder why Ford is so far down? The Challenger has really grown on me...I wasn't a strong fan when it came out, but I like it much more now.
