  1. Now you just need an older Ford performance truck in the garage so you can have a Bolt of lightning
  2. Sounds like I will be road tripping Cleveland. Visiting a friend in Tiffin often...good thing the TDI Jetta is getting such good fuel economy...Ran 57.8 On the tank I went to Tiffin on... When they buy it back I am leaning WRX... Saw an R32 Skyline after meeting friends for a dinner and a movie last night...he was running next to me on I 270 when I was going home. Nice to start the day with the Bird and end it with the Nissan. Odd, you look almost exactly like I pictured you. Right now my thoughts are to replace the Jetta with a WRX and the Mini with a Bolt when they have been out a couple of years.
  3. You will love it. My nephew has one and it is fantastic..... May I be the first to congratulate you! Kind of thought you might have gone Asian...
  4. Nice to see you back.... White 56 Thunderbird on a car carrier this morning in the lot of the place I was getting my morning coffee....effin awesome! Finding that I am getting more into the 50's and earlier cars and also more into post 1985 as well. Really burned out personally on the Muscle car era and traditional American classics. Bring me a vintage jaguar XK 150 or a nice modern Cayman and we are golden....
  5. Thinking Land Cruiser is the closest....
  6. Yes, trying to figure out if R32's were built as 4 doors, I can't remember at the moment...not sure they were....golf R was though...but.... ...Golf R was not sold until 2012...so rule that out....
  7. 1905 Stanley Steamer...ohhh wait...you said after 1960...you meant new millennium and not new century...hmmmm.... I am going to guess foreign also.....rule out MINI, Mercedes, and you said not another BMW....so probably Asian....doubt you bought another vee dubbbb..... Although an R32 would be a nice addition to your fleet. You seem to like boxy vehicles....
  8. PDK would be my choice here also...Porsche gets this one right.
  9. Decade built in...I am going to pick within the last ten years.... ...and damn, not a Maserati either.....!
  10. Speaking of rocking on.... time for everyone to stop being so serious.....its Friday dammit! Smoke one for me boys.....light it up at the tree and let's make some noise and raise some hell....I gotta get some things done. Your talking about Hetero men and awesome bodies has me worried....
  11. I am going the other way...gently used Ghlbli SQ 4...4 doors....different than anything he currently owns....right? Hummer H3 would be more my guess....he is not quite into conventional automobiles....so if he was going to go for something more SUVish I would think something like that....
  12. BMW M2-My toy Mustang gT350R-Own it in combination with my oldest son. I wanted to give my son my 1966 Mustang Fastback but then sold the Mustang to buy my 1955 Chevrolet 2 door. Shelby would be cherished, waxed, and babied. Bolt would be my daily. Mazda 3 would be for my Daughter Joanna who si graduating in the spring and will need a reliable set of wheels. Golf R for my wife to daily. Would need to widen my driveway.....
  13. 4 door Unimog.... What dealership do you work at? Do you sell new cars or....what do you do?
  14. S2000 would be the bomb...!
  15. My love affair with the TLX may come to an end. We moved here in 1989 for my wife to go to grad school at Ohio State. I have always thought I would wind up moving on at some point, but methinks I might spend the rest of my life here. Buying an Acura was in my sub conscious I think a way for me to come to grips with living in central Ohio where Honda is a big part of the automotive culture. Finding a lot of cars kind of polarize me in a kind of negative way, The TLX is at least not a complete turn off. Would rather buy a WRX which is cheaper. I am kind of migrating back to my sport compact roots....but there are serious things I dislike about every option. checking back into home prices on Mackinaw Island, Michigan where there are no cars....sigh....
  16. 51 Crosley hot Shot....! How bad did I miss? His wife wishes he changed his underwear that often, actually.....
  17. I think Acura is slipping from the minds of Honda management just as Lincoln is bringing us a refreshed MKZ, a refreshed/new 'Gator, the Conti....Cadillac is moving Forward....Lexus is moving forward and is #2 behind Benz in sales in the US... BMW is holding onto and building their market share and Audi is weathering eleventy billion diesel gate scandals well. Acura is getting a little bit lost in the shuffle. The ILX is not selling well enough to justify its existence as another model....the SUV lineup is as bland as watching a whale take a S#!t in the middle of the ocean.... Actually I take that back, from a marine biology standpoint watching a whale relieve himself might be more interesting than an RDX.... Kind of sad, actually.
  18. I would think it would. i love the current direction of jeep in many ways.
  19. Waiting with curiosity....
  20. Agree on Olds being a fantastic thinker in his own right...!
  21. We miss out on a ton of good wagons...make mine a Mazda 6 wagon...
  22. I don't want to bash on the Focus as I came close to buying the ST version twice, but methinks this is a much better car. The big advantages here are the Civic is available as a two door and also Civic SI resale value just kills it over Focus ST resale. Worth a look!
  23. Perhaps FCA should merge with Lucas Electrical in Great Britain?
  24. Tesla and FCA are both cash poor and liability high. Also, Musk does not want dealers. Furthermore, you have three wildly different corporate cultures...Fiat, Chrysler, and Tesla...that would not play well together. Plus you still have the liability of the battery factory and solar city. Not sure the Chinese want Alfa, they want something with more brand equity.
  25. Gave a whole new meaning to Wednesday being hump day....
