  1. I have no idea, but I am stealing the E30M3 and the Lotus as my final two picks. Mustang, Split Window VW, E30 M3, Mercer, and Lotus...a nice little collection I think. With the Toyota 2000GT I actually like the BRZ better and I have included it on other lists.
  2. The rest of the truck is pretty damned amazing also. We are kind of on the rural edge of Columbus Ohio. The new Super Duty is a huge hit with its target market, probably more so than almost any other automotive product I have seen.
  3. 507 is highly rational, E30 M3 is one of my all time favorite cars.
  4. The whole truck is amazing. I may take issues with the Focus and the Lincoln passenger cars, but ford nails pretty much everything else, and when it comes to the Super Duty, it really effin nails it! Raptor is easily one of the most lustworth vehicles built in the past decade also.
  5. Actually in the end the market is a pretty fair determination. The Miata is still around 25 years plus alter while a whole bunch of competitors such as the Civic Del Sol have gone the way of the dodo bird.
  6. Renegade then, with the automatic and the larger motor. Set up for towing a small trailer.
  7. I would have chosen them but I was trying to make a sort of different list. Two of my favorite current cars. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercer_(automobile) Mercer Raceabout, Type 35, 55 Horsepower. Think of it as a very expensive, underwired, and primitive Miata. Circa 1914 or so. Car #3.
  8. if allowed the incentive, hell yes! I was not sure if this was small enough. given it is the only one here with actual off road capacity and actual towing capacity with the 2.0 and the automatic.....yes... Something like that, apparently, I think either is correct.
  9. Audi A3 starts at 31,200 in the sportback/hatchback guise....sadly...overpriced... It is a really nice vehicle. You have me beat in terms of miles we are 48K into the TDI....
  10. My Cannondale and some time on two wheels looks pretty good given those constraints. But if I had to buy something in that Category, Mazda CX3. Or if it were allowed actually Fiat 500X, but I don't think that quite fits....nor would a Renegade, which actually would be my other choice. Lacking that, and being unable to buy the Buick, please bring me the Honda HRV and a couple of good shots of bourbon.
  11. Thanks, because that is going to be car #1.... Car number two will be an original 64 1/2 Mustang Convertible with the 260 V8.
  12. Can it start with a 3 if I want a 36 HP Split Window Beetle?
  13. I do like EVO, but would prefer R and T over C and D. Thanks for the Aaron Bragman link...I will have to check him out... And yes, i find lots of good info here at C and G also. My bias against MT is that I do not think they are often very enthusiast oriented. Just my two cents.
  14. This is why I liked the tail gates on 1960's and 1970's station wagons. They would often open either way....made for good tailgating before a football game!
  15. STI #1, Golf R #2, RS #3, Evo #4. the middle two are kind of negotiable but the STI on top and EVO on the bottom is not.
  16. Yeah, I had a chance to buy a couple of houses cheap from fellow car guys which had 4 cars of garage space..... I can imagine that not going over very well.
