Second the thought of a new V6 Mustang esp...best in class fuel economy, great resale, and the new interior with the premium package is sweet. A new V6 Camaro would do well also....I am also looking for another car, and the Camaro and Mustang are both on my short list.

Neat looking old car...and amazingly, I'm old enough to remember when these things were new. I even drove a few of them back in the day, although I never owned one.

+1 Like the Nissan Juke, for example If the Nissan Juke is pure sex I want to be celibate. A lot of cars are cutting corners with the eco0nomy going in to the crapper

Deathtrap yes, but runs 4 evar...I've owned 4 of the Safari/Astyo variety, two work trucks, two passenger vans, and they always provided reliable transportation cheaply. but yes the safety sucks.

I always wanted a 75 Caprice convertible...as a kid, i wanted a 72 LTD with the folding roof and a 70 full size Chryco ragtop...one of the last of each of the full size ragtops. Pair that with a 72 Buick midsize ragtop, a 73 Mustang Convertible, and then a 71 Challenger just because...6 cars...that last of the fullsize and midsize regular convertibles...what I wanted as a kid. We had neighbors who had a 75 Caprice ragtop...old days....

C4C took a lot of older iron off of the road...around here some of the Hyundai dealers took in 150 plus cars....

Sounds good to me...local dealer says they have never sen a stick, and that it might take months to get one. I'm gonna have to find another place to "try one"

I see cars around here, although not as many as I used to. Agree...Dayton seems to have more cool older cars on the roads. This seems to be SUV and Honda country, sadly.

Jeep Cherokee with the inline 6, also old wranglers. Old Ford Trucks with the inline 6 300 CI Old Slant Six Mopars Panther Cars (Crown Vic, Grand Marquis) From FOMOCO. Old Volvo's from the 80;s. WRX/STI seem to run forever... We have more old Cavaliers and Sunfires on the roads here in Ohio than the General originally built... What else runs forever...or seems to? And Actually, since we have a few Corvair buffs on here..old Corvairs had a VERY strong survival rate for the longest time IIRC.

So if you had 25K to spend on a car with only two rules... Less than twenty years old, and two doors, what would you choose? My Choice? Factory 5 Roadster. What would you choose? Grand National? C5 Zo6? New V6 Camaro? Toranado?
