  1. One of these days my son and I will drive to Michigan and take you out to Lunch or Dinner...with all you've been through Dave, you deserve it. I'll try to find someplace nice...with a wheelchair ramp....(just kidding, buddy) Get well soon, hope your son is doing well. Chris
  2. I like a glass of wine with food once in awhile. Wine seems to go very well with italian food for some reason. Corona or beer from a microbrewery is usually pretty good...but I drink about 4 times a year, maybe less. Chris
  3. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...7&viewitem= Check it out... Chris
  4. +1 Glad Carbiz has such a rational and thought out reply. Chris
  5. You should get about 21 around town and 28-30 on the highway. Fullsize cars with 3800's get amazing ungodly good fuel economy. I know of one person who travels for work with a 3800 in a fullsize Buick. He rarely gets below 35 MPG. Just sell it to your wife as an investment in better looking (future) grandkids...because that Firebird will get its share of feminine attraction. Chris
  6. Actually I think if the 'camino came out as nice as I think the wagon will...I would keep the Camino, and finish the mother truck as time permits. I still dream about cars I've sold, even though I had "good" reasons for selling them. Waking up in a cold sweat because you miss a car sucks. The Camino is a keeper methinks...but that is just me. Chris
  7. +1 Chris
  8. Be thankful he doesn't ahve any tickets yet. A friends son is 18, an A student in pre-med at Ohio State, and just lost his lic. for street racing...after his 4th speedeing ticket. You might consider getting your son involved in autocross. It is a world of fun, and a safe way to test the limits of your car. A 3800 powered F body would be a great cruiser and a great daily driver, methinks. Chris
  9. gm4life...you and I are singing the same tune. I've been thinking VERY seriously about buying a 3800 powered Camaro or Firebird ragtop for my family. The wife and kids have been after me for a 4 seat ragtop so we can cruise around in the summer with more people than the Miata. I've seen ragtops with under 50k and really clean go for under your 7 or 8 k price range. Including 1 silver convertible Camaro I am just kicking myself in the arse for not buying. Keep us posted, gm4life! Chris
  10. I just pray to the gods of internal combustion that Gm has more in its design studios than Volt Wanna bees... Gonna miss John. Chris
  11. That is a wonderful pic of the B-59! Chris
  12. +1 Chris
  13. I've watched the man drive at Mid Ohio. A very fine driver and a very fine man. We will iss having him onboard at GM. Chris
  14. Wow...my dad lives out of state and I miss him. I can't even imagine loosing him. Chris
  15. Actually GM would be better off if a few of our local dealers did disappear. Chris
  16. Let's hope they are around to keep trying for a long, long time. Chris
  17. That Intrepis should be quite nice once DF is done with it. I am enjoying watching the progress. Glad he got doors cheap to fix the accident damage. Chris
  18. +1 on heated seats... Chris
  19. I love it! Chris
  20. I had a chance to own one of these, and passed on it. That was years ago, and I've always regretted it. Chris
  21. I love how an older BENZ just feels "right" Chris
  22. That's one of my favourite Olds.... Chris
  23. This assumes they can read. Seriously, this would make the great start of a pro street car or drag car. Chris
  24. I'm in lust...maybe after the economy recovers a little bit I can sell my house and buy one of these, ready to race. I wonder how my wife and 5 kids would feel about living in a garage? Chris
