  1. Oh man, Keifer Sutherland, cool!
  2. Sanford & Son (Bobby, it was American Pie)
  3. The way that paint cracked, it looks like that bumper has been repaired or replaced before, usually the factory paint doesn't crack, it flexes with the bumper cover. Are you sure the plastic is actually cracked, or is it just the paint? If it was cold enough, the plastic could be cracked. Try peeling the paint away from the crack with your fingernails. Even if it is cracked though, it appears from here it could be repaired with plastic repair material, not bondo, which will fall out in clumps if it is touched again. In severe cold, I have seen otherwise flexible bumper covers shatter like ice. Good luck, Mr. Scharmer. EDIT: Duh, reading comprehension skills. I see now your bumper is not factory original, which would explain the cracked paint.
  4. I want to hit at least one of the Spring Carlisle events this year.
  5. Those two years blur together for me on the Chryslers. I think it's a '65, but I am not certain. Did the headlight covers make production, or am I thinking of a concept car? Yeah, if GM has a mandate that the rear end sits 2" higher than the front, of course the shorter the truck, the more apparent the rake. It is not near as noticeable on the longer trucks. No biggie, it'll be taken care of soon. The shackles have been shipped, with an ETA of Feb 12.
  6. Odd? Not in this case. :AH-HA_wink: The Mark VII is a lot nicer than the square box Mark VI, and I like it better nowadays than the Mark VIII. The Mark IV and the Mark VII are my favorites of the Mark series. Good choice, imo, and from what I understand, this model's air suspension has proven more reliable than the others. For a Ford engine, you can't beat the 302 for reliability and ease of modification. You should ditch the Millenia for this.
  7. Well, I already have a "Honk if you're horny!" sign with a suction cup for the back window. I guess another trip to Pep Boys is in order for today. Also, I want to see if they have any stick-on hood scoops.
  8. Although he may be "incapacitated" this morning from celebrating the big TWO ONE last night, I wanted to get this up here bright and early. Have a good one, Variance.
  9. I have some "art films" around here somewhere on DVD, I'd really like to watch them on a huge TV. Can I come over too? I'll bring a sixpack.
  10. I can truthfully attest to the incredible fortitude inherent in a small GM truck, having owned 5 S-10s and a Colorado. Mr. Jacket, fix your wipers, man.
  11. I've never owned an Opel product.
  12. That teacher has no sense of humor. :AH-HA_wink:
  13. This video would give Nicole Kidman nightmares, no doubt.
  14. embarrassing (when you get caught on the kitchen counter reenacting a movie scene)
  15. She passed away in the night. She beats no more.
  16. The Ute is a cool vehicle, no doubt... but I'd be afraid of getting rear ended, especially with a non-existent rear bumper. Also, you'd have to have a ready source Down Under for spare parts. Looks like you've made up your mind to keep searching though. Happy Hunting, sir.
  17. Hey Toni, did you get new fasteners? A lot of the hardware can be reused if it is taken apart correctly. Good luck getting it back together, vehicle damage is always a pain, but this sounds minor, you should have it back to new in no time.
  18. hehe, nope, no Yosemite Sam "Back Off!" mudflaps, either. :AH-HA_wink: Hmmm... what do you guys think of a nice set of chromed, louvered fender skirts? And, for safety, I could put a row of stick-on reflectors across my tailgate. Maybe a set of simulated exhaust stacks for the bed, complete with flapper caps. Ooo, ooo, also those gnarly illuminated corner marker antenna things for the front bumper, those are neat. Let's see, a backup beeper, TruckNutz... ohhhhh, I gotta have a set of TruckNutz. A TWEETY BIRD ANTENNA TOPPER! J.C. Whitney, I love you! *snaps out of it* WTF was that?
  19. My neighbor has a big ol' '66 (?) Chrysler in his driveway. Cool alright... but, it has an alarm. It's been going off... constantly, for the last like 3 days. The battery must be going dead, because the whole time it's been sounding like water dripping into a galvanized bucket, and it just won't stop, it goes on, and on... and on...

    DAMN!!

Oh man, I just realized this Toro is being sold out of a business near Annapolis, MD. (301 area code means it is south of Annapolis city, which is 410, from what I remember.) I prefer the torquoise one parked in front of it simply for the color, but the gold one appears to be in pretty good shape, it's just dirty.
  22. It's 6.5'... I guess that's "medium shawt"? I find the ride comfortable. I test drove an extended cab 4WD '07 Sierra, and mine doesn't seem any different than that longer truck. With the Z85 "handling/trailering" suspension tuning, it really corners nice, too, much flatter than the Colorado, and better than I remember my Z85 '02 Silverado in the same bodystyle as this new one. Oh, and I put my second mod in motion today, I ordered my BedRug liner.
