  1. This new Expedition takes inspiration for its face from a rather iconic Ford truck face from the past. I like the face of the new Expedition, if for no other reason than this:
  2. personal attack
  3. Oldsmoboi: so hurry down the chimney tonight... :AH-HA_wink:
  4. U.S.-spec bumpers add 3 feet to the overall length.
  5. valedictorian
  6. Ew z, what is he about to stick through that hole?
  7. Cool Myer.
  8. How about a pre-CSV Montana? Shouldn't they be new enough to be GM Certified?
  9. double-edged sword (keeps a man sane sometimes, but also can make a man lazy at finding real love)
  10. It'd be really hard for me to write a Craigslist of only 5 C&Gers to chill wit, but Satty, you can bet your bippy you'd be on it.
  11. It seems like the '92 Skylark was an attempt to return to the old days, when W-shaped front ends were produced regularly by Buick, except the older ones leaned more forward than back. I think the backward lean of the front end is what doomed it.
  12. Agreed, and any permanent modifications to those cars should be grounds for treason.
  13. So... they're going to replace your front bumper cover? I hope they can get a decent match on the paint.
  14. Beautiful except for the robotron headlights and the centipede wheels. Very formal and elegant. Love the canvas roof. I hope the folding hardtop fad fades quickly.
  15. station wagon
  16. .357 Magnum
  17. Happy Ending
  18. I always liked the later, GS coupe version of that car, after the nose job.
  19. massage therapy
  20. The beltline and front quarter window remind me a bit of the Yaris 3 door.
  21. See The U.S.A. in your Chevrolet is just as important a slogan now as it was then. Chevrolet. America's brand. I remember riding in the rear luggage area of my mom's '69 Corvette LT-1 4 speed, but my earliest car memory is when I was standing on the front passenger seat riding with her in my parents' '66 Malibu SS 396/350hp 4 speed when she came around a corner here in town and slammed into the back of an illegally-parked '56 Cadillac. In a blink of an eye, I ended up under the dash, looking up. I was 3.
  22. For 11 years while I lived in Maryland, I had "OCN BLU" on my plate. I hated to give that up when I moved.
  23. Well, I just paid for mine, one of each!
  24. Uh, a pastel pink first-gen Corvair convertible with white top and interior, fender skirts, oversized dual exhaust pipes, smooth chrome rims with baby moon hubcaps and curb feelers, driven by a graying hippie, turning into the local upholstery shop this afternoon. Wild!
