  4. More info and photos on the '72 Impy, please sir.
  5. Well, the computer is... 2004? And I can override the errant cursor by moving the mouse, no problem. I have Spybot and Ad-aware 6.0, neither of which recognize a problem. Although... sometimes I do have a small black window come up under the same circumstances (static mouse for a period of time) that types out something about "pings", and then some adult website, the title of which changes each time it appears. It never redirects my screen anywhere though, and if I touch the mouse, all the shenanigans stop. Thanks for the VHS -----> DVD tips.
  6. Well, according to the weatherman, it appears the rain will be over tonight, and tomorrow will be partly cloudy and crisp. Yay, no rain!

Wow, looks like we were blindsided (ha) by this one. Very cool.
  8. I have Windows XP. If the mouse doesn't move for a while, my computer goes to "notepad", mspaint", "calculator" and other places, by itself, then it clicks back to the screen I was viewing. What do I go into to stop that nonsense? Is that some sort of "demo" I can get rid of? Also, I have some movies on VHS that I don't want to throw away. Is there a machine that will record my VHS tapes onto DVD directly? I don't want to buy the machine, I just want to maybe rent it or take them somewhere and have them converted. Thanks for any help.

  10. This could be quite the Magic Show for Buick. The Lucerne does have a really good mix of size, luxury and athleticism in its profile. I can't wait to see these. I just hope none of them have ridiculous wings.
  11. Maybe the big ol' Accord got keyed or something. I've seen that before... damage covered with inane stickers.
  12. I'm hoping for a nice dose of Sixteen in the next DTS/STS L, but with a shorter front clip. The chops are nice, but they're just not adventurous enough for Cadillac A&S II, imo.
  13. Ugh, what a complete, clueless asshole with the Tundra bumper sticker. $h!head.
  14. ancestors WMJ, that little guy bouncing and looking around is pretty damned cool.
  15. Mr. Krinkle, no, they don't believe their daughters were evil, they just completely believe in what they call "God's will". They firmly believe it is not their place to judge anyone, they believe judgment of others falls on God's shoulders. That is how they immediately and without a thought, forgive and move on. I am not a particularly religious man, but the serenity with which they've dealt with this unimaginable blow is truly inspiring.
  16. Hmmm... Saturday dinner. What are the show hours? It is more likely to rain in the a.m., according to the weather report, but I don't want to miss too many cars leaving for home. If I get there in the early a.m., will I be ready to go home before dinner time? I can't promise to stay until dinner time, but I am looking forward to at least meeting up with you guys and cruising the show early in the day.
  17. Hmmm... if you built yourself an extended cab, the regular cabs cannot be far behind... I wonder how I messed that up. I'll look again.
  18. Jeez, I guess if we want a somewhat full Hershey experience, we have to be there pretty damned early on Saturday morning. I'll try to leave as soon as I can then.

  20. It looks loaded, with automatic and air, AM/FM stereo, Estate package, roof rack, aluminum wheels, sport mirrors, etc., and I think '77 was the last year for the Vega. If it was never titled, it has probably been in a dealership's hands all these years, the ultimate "leftover".
  21. where?
  22. Well, rust usually occurs when a car is driven and salt, mud and water gets thrown into areas under the car, or when a car is parked under trees over time and crap falls down and ends up clogging drain areas in the body, or even when a car is not driven but merely parked, not allowing air to circulate and dry out the body. This little car looks to have been kept inside, everything is pristine.
  23. seance Wow, thanks, Mr. Jacket.
  24. Mr. Jacket, your sig is extremely interesting. I want it. Oh, sorry. preaching.
  25. That grille is the $h!, but I chose different rims. Nice.
