  1. I love the roof treatment on this one... the delicate chrome of the pillars... the grille treatment looks like it was toned down for the production '61 Corvette.
  2. Well jeez, it says "GTR" right on the side of it.
  3. A pure guess would be the Ford concept car that became the Pinto.
  4. Taken this afternoon at our new car lot: Also, I stopped by the Pontiac dealer and drove the six speed G6 GTP... a very sweet ride! There was like, no driveline lash, which can make driving a manual a jerky experience if you're not careful. PLENTY of pull from the 3.9L, and the Monsoon stereo rocks!

I warned you all: started out really cool but forgot to set the parking brake one from my A&F collection

NO ONE will ever say that about the '06 Malibu. :(

"Billy Gene is not my lover..." wait, did I spell that name right? I just heard a funny song by that Stephen Lynch dude. What's his story?
  10. God, the tide of this thread has led me to this little piece of driftwood... a return to RWD is what GM really needs to bring all the lost souls (like me) home. With modern, kickass styling and all the features every customer demands these days. Seriously, Pontiac... you REALLY NEED a 4 seater Kappa coupe and sedan to underpin the lineup and get the kids in the showroom. Certainly, Solstice is a fantastic start, use it as bait, but then hook them with something different and fun! Chevrolet, Pontiac and Buick could all benefit from the supposed flexibility of Epsilon II. All 3 divisions could really use a RWD derivative of that size platform... Zeta, or Sigma Lite, or whatever the hell it's called... just DO IT NOW... it's just natural, and you can't fight nature no matter how hard you try.

Oh, turbo200, nice picture. <==== understatement of the year. (Biting my lip to keep from saying more.) Also, good pic Ven, no amphibian love. Nos, don't be afraid to post another picture. I mean, what could be more embarrassing than your "making love to my Camaro" pictures? I've been thinking about going in to work today and hijacking the Mavica to take a few pics to post here. No "goodlooking guy in the Rockies" scenery like Cremazie's though. Just regular old Lancaster County stuff.

    Hot or Not?

Nick, nah, it's fun to look at something huge, but what are you going to do with it, really? Something within the "normal" range is much more... useful.
  13. My alter ego, Rod Longmore, made a good living with those three words at just the right time... OH...MY...GOD!!!
  14. I've been thinking the same thing... bright white, with the dark windows and the chrome accents would look good, I think. I've yet to see one though.
  15. That's it, Fly. The phallic jokes were flying through my brain, but I'm trying hard to be a good boy.
  16. I went downstairs last night to let my dog out to pee, and when I turned the back light on, I saw two slugs fu*king while stuck to my sliding glass door. Being the mean guy that I am, I decided to break up the party by sprinkling salt on them. They unhooked themselves, contracted their bodies, and started going in circles while secreting a shitload of slime all over my glass door. It was DISGUSTING. It looked like a camel with a cold sneezed on it. They finally dropped off the glass and started (relatively) running away. I immediately turned the hose sprayer on the door, but that slug slime is tough! It stuck like Krazy Glue, but finally, the full-blast spray of the hose cleaned it up. Bleh. Get a room, you slimy little mofos!
  17. Who dat? The rapper?

    Hot or Not?

I know they're real magnesium, and I know they're expensive... ($700+ each?), but I never liked the pissy color of those rims.
  19. We can prolly fix it, but I doubt it will fit in our paint booths.
  20. Oh my God.... Oh...my...God! YEAHHHHHH!!!!! Was that grammatically correct?

    Buick

Crash tests and safety concerns are conspiring to take the excitement and imagination out of car design. GM, don't let these practical realities steal your creativity! Give us more beautiful cars like the Solstice. Cars that just ooze confidence and romance.
  22. Fly, we got an '06 Malibu sedan in too, Sport Red, base LS. It looks nice, even in base form. The interior looked like it was a new color of brown/tan.
  23. I love the Solstice hardtop coupe, but like the idea of all Ecotec engines. Sometimes, more is not more. With NA and forced induction Ecotecs, Kappa seems to be a perfectly balanced chassis. I'd buy a Solstice fastback, I'm dead serious.
