  1. It should have some sort of manual release inside the trunk trim on the side of the fuel door.
  2. That's fasssssscinating... ;)
  3. What car? Ohhhh... the Delta? Sorry, my mind was somewhere else. :metal:
  4. Yes Sixty8, I knew about the 70 1/2 thing, bit I could swear it says "1978".

    Floridians

stace, I ain't skeert. Guys do not put deodorant anywhere near their balls. Like menthol, it would prolly burn the hell out of them!
  6. Thanks Ted. And we can edit freely now. Thanks to whoever did that.
  7. What's wrong with ghost badges? I like the cleaner look of no badges on a lot of vehicles.
  8. Majestic Amethyst HHR, 2LT with gray leather and polished 17s. Not my colour, but a cool ride nonetheless. Yesterday I saw a '71 or '72 Delta 88 convertible with 3 20-something guys in it. Dude. Sweet. Our local VW dealer has a new Jetta GLI... VW is nuts. $28.9k! WTF? Who in their right mind would buy one of these at that price? I've said it before... VW's march upmarket is a colossal mistake, fueled by the ego of the former head guy over there.
  9. Good Lord, what is this, Smokey & The Bandit? :P
  10. Josh, could you please repost? The pictures didn't load. M'kay thnx. Seriously, that's a good article with a lot to be pumped up about. I cannot wait to see these vehicles!
  11. So far, I've seen a lot of vehicles in this thread that I hope Toyota comes out with.
  12. Speaking of the new VUE, I saw a white, top line model yesterday with tan leather on the Saturn lot. I have to say, despite the funky front end, the vehicle looks good. The interior is a nice step up over the Equinox. Haven't seen a Torrent yet, but I suspect it's much closer to Equinox interior wise.

    GOOOO BUICK!

There is a blue '78 or '79 LeSabre S-Type coupe riding around my area. Black and chrome detailing, amber signals, Buick's black & chrome sport wheels... it's all there and still looking good.
  14. No GM emblem on '06 Trailblazers, GMC Sierras, or Express vans either, from what I've seen.
  15. The short wheelbase van needs to be available here in the US as well.
  16. That's a very cool picture of the '69, but are my eyes bad? Does it really say "1978" on the front license plate? I watched the movie "Constantine" on my pc this afternoon. Very cool.
  17. Karmann Ghias are cool. Thanks Northie. I try to proofread as I'm typing and I try to present a good readable post every time, but sometimes a guy really needs the edit function, for typos, and to complete a thought after the fact.

    GOOOO BUICK!

I want Buick to return to market with a sporty trim level... sportier than "CXS" I mean...

    8th gen civic

The car looks pregnant. The interior in these pictures is too weird. Did anyone buy the Prius because they thought it was good looking? I don't think so. They bought them because they fell for the inflated fuel economy numbers. Why would Honda think they could go all Jetsons with this thing? Long lost Honda slogan: "We Keep It Simple." And how will this dash go over with the ricer crowd? No more custom instrument clusters and no more aftermarket stereos, Honda has seen to that. This car further distances Honda from the grass roots tuners that made them big in the 90's. Cobalt is highly customizable, which should play in its favor.
  20. I see a typo in my post above Harley's. Admins, give us an edit option please for posts that have been replied to.
  21. Oh jeez, where's that *blush* smiley?
  22. Advertised horsepower is at or near the top of the list of importance for bragging rights. Car enthusiasts remember and tout published horsepower ratings all the time. Car enthusiasts sell their less informed friends and family on vehicles all the time, and horsepower ratings are almost always mentioned. Toyota and Honda are guilty of fudging the facts, it seems to me.
