  1. "Josh is sooo CUTE!" Is that incoherent enough? :P

    Scooters

Well then, maybe I should get one. Yah, right. ;)
  3. Isn't there some history at Oldsmobile with red wheelwells too? Hmmm... I don't remember for sure. That's a very sleek looking concept, and shows Bill Mitchell's personal taste... he had excellent taste, imo, and he helped make GM the style setter for decades.
  4. Oh, I got one for y'all: a homemade, '86ish Taurus "Ranchero", made from a red metallic station wagon, with a plywood rear cab panel (with a plexiglass window), and a '78-'87 El Camino rear bumper that was on crooked. The rear door handles were removed and the doors were sealed up.
  5. Any GM car in the configuration of a '78-'88 A/G body would suit me. Any car in the B, C or D-body configuration from '81-'90. Any F-car from '67-'69, or even '70-'73 when the 2nd-gen still had purity of line. With the necessary updates, of course. All these vehicles reflected a GM that was breezily confident. They seemed so apologetic for so long, and I sincerely hope this new positive attitude at GM grows.
  6. Satty, you are not 6'3" and 220 pounds! :o Yup, cars seem to grow these days with each successive generation, then they have to slot something in underneath... Chevy Aveo, Ford Fiesta, Nissan whatever, Honda Fit, etc... all intro'd to take the place of "compacts" that grew. I think safety standards and the all-important "crash test scores" may have something to do with this phenomenon as well.
  7. Wow, some awesome possibilities discussed here!

Awww, Nick has a crush. Isn't that cute? Viper, you have nothing to be ashamed of. You're a cute kid. And I mean that in a proper, "uncle" sort of way.
  9. Well, ya know, Avalanches are made of snow, and snow is white, and toaster streudels (sp?) have white icing, and Polar Bears love the snow, and Polar Bears are white, and... oh good GOD!

    Buick

Ohh... I love that bodystyle, and that particular model... a Century Turbo Coupe. I'd love to build one of those with a badass turbo 3.8 and suspension mods to make it really handle. Love it!
  11. Hmmm... well, those guys are retards. (I'm not picking on you, Sixty8) ;)
  12. In regards to #2, I never heard anyone say "big block" and "small block" when talking about a Pontiac V8. Who does that? Oldsmobile is the same, from all I've heard. Everything from the little 260 up to the mighty 455 were all basically the same.

Are you smiling because you're gettin' happy with that marble frog? Great pics, all. You're a good looking group. I had to take my goofball 11th grade pic down and replace it with Batman to stop everyone from getting nauseous. Let's see some more pics! B)
  14. I pray to God he doesn't have any sheep.

The side-opening hoods remind me of some dude with a comb-over caught in a windstorm. They're cool though, kinda like the clamshell hoods on the mid-80's H and C body Buicks. Different just for the sake of it. I like that. This has been a great thread, Harley.
  16. Very cool pics... except what's that sorry looking thing in the other lane? It looks something like a '74 Satellite. :)
  17. Excellent looking Envoy, GMTG! I hope you and your friend both have many happy miles.
  18. The Colorado Z71 4X4 sits higher than a ZR2. The P265/75R15 tires are comparable in size to the 31x10.50s. The Colorado has bigger ring & pinions than an S-10. Believe me, I compared them.

    Nomad

Kappa Nomad's been out for a while, but my enthusiasm for it and any other Kappa four seater is unmitigated. Build Kappa Nomad!
  20. Yeah, we're missing some people.
  21. Wow, sounds fun, z. Driving or flying?

    Floridians

DAMN! I failed every single question on the test! :(
  23. The Colorado is useful every single day, but the Cobalt is only useful until you need a truck to haul something.
