  1. I have not seen a green Impala, I bet it looks great in that color. I would go with the Impala, personally, with the LaCrosse my second choice. Your kids are either grown or growing, a roomy car seems the best bet. And it is nice to see a familiar face around here, GMTG74!
  2. He clearly believes the current truck is that way, based on his erroneous post.
  3. It is clearly and without doubt the ugliest pickup truck on the market, and that includes the Mahindra.
  4. Similar "math" was used to chide the Chevrolet Volt when it was introduced. Autoblog has a decent write-up on the situation. http://www.autoblog.com/2015/08/10/tesla-does-not-lose-4000-each-model-s/ Yes, "math" in reference to a "car".
  5. Where are you getting your information from regarding GM's use of aluminum in their current trucks? Because it is wrong-o.
  6. I really like those Wrangler tires on the Trail Boss. I need some for mine.
  7. We have a few on our lot. I like the new look, but the price OMG, and with a tiny motor too. Top of the line AWD north of $35k. My truck MSRP was $32.5k and it is a much more valuable vehicle.
  8. Brown SuperCab Beercan F-150 in the KFC parking lot. Was going to crack a joke about beercans, but there were three hard looking dudes getting into it. Big and Dumb, I guess.
  9. Thanks, Mr. dfelt. I do appreciate it.
  10. Had to have my cat put to sleep this afternoon. Heart disease, according to the vet. Buried her in the back yard. Her toys were all over the house, and I'm sure I'll find more as time passes. She was very loving, gentle, and well-behaved.
  11. Summer has flown like a supersonic jet this year, but there is still time to get out there and see some cool and unusual vehicles. Post your sightings here!
  12. This is gonna be awesome, with a few caveats... No extended cab diesel No base trim diesel (I would think fleets would eat this up!) No chassis-cab diesel (a little flatbed or dump truck would be adorable.) After owning a VW TDi before this Colorado, I was very intrigued by the baby Duramax in these trucks. And although I celebrate this development, I am glad I did not wait. Now, a WT extended cab 4X4 with appearance and convenience packages, and a stickshift with the diesel? I would have kicked myself. As it is, I am routinely getting better mileage than the ratings suggested. I can buy a good bit of gasoline for $3730, even premium, which I am using.
  13. I do like the MKZ's looks, definitely distinctive and not chasing the Germans there, but I would only own one with the V6. none of this EcoBust or Hybrid crapola.
  14. Let's dig this one up in 2018 to show it has surpassed the "word association" thread in total replies. Game?
  15. Aww, you are a real gentleman!
  16. Well I want to down-vote a few of the posts above but I can't, so I'll just up-vote them!
  17. Haha, when using spray-on sunscreen, be sure to apply it uniformly or you will look like an appaloosa stallion the next day.
  18. Book titles that arouse suspicion...
  19. Gorgeous silver over black Celebrity Eurosport sedan with an exquisitely tasteful, subtle satin black Pep Boys stick-on hood scoop. 2.8L V6 burbling sweetly.
  20. shoes
  21. lanolin
  22. This thread has become less than random.
