  1. Jalapeno Spark, first one I've seen parked at someone's house.
  2. Please listen to this, it is wonderful, truly...
  3. That kind of dictatorial BS is most certain to elicit a Balthazar attitude toward new trucks across the NA continent. Does GM REALLY want that? Sales WILL fall through the floor!
  4. Thomas? I don't know if Budd made school buses.
  5. Well, we knew they'd keep a hybrid fullsize truck, even if it's just for window dressing. Because nobody actually buys the thing.
  6. I'M SO CONFUSED. I really like this style of truck, and the Blue Topaz is cool imo, same color I had on the Cruze. This one is a 2WD with G80 locker, and I had no trouble in my Sierra in snow with the same combination. Of course, it did not have the steam roller 20s on it like this '13, I put 265/70/17s on that one (245s from factory). Even if the rear end is dropped 2" like my '07, these 20s would fill the wheelwells nicely. Newark is not too awful far from me... maybe I should take a road trip tomorrow... EDIT: an LS 4X4 equipped they way I'd want it, has an MSRP of $31,655... a good deal less than this LT 2WD.
  7. Up to 48 mpg. 140 mph top speed. 295 ft/lbs torque from a 2.0L diesel engine. In a Buick Verano, Regal, Encore and LaCrosse, this would blow eek-Assist into the WEEDS. No contest! Something like this makes the future seem not so dark and dead. Why is GM not selling this engine in the USA? That Cruze diesel had better be bulletproof, efficient, lively and affordable... because it could be the gateway to an electric-free CAFE compliant future.
  8. 2.0 twin turbo, twin intercooled diesel. How hot is it now?
  9. Since this is a family situation, I agree with Camino here. Do a bit of research, but in the end, come to a family agreement on what's fair.
  10. I like the looks of it. Be watchful.
  11. Bangin' way to kick it off, Balthy. Plus, I see a beautiful red second-gen Corvair convertible in the background... plus two El Caminos with shaved handles.
  12. I can't figure out which one I like the best, they're all cool. Let's see, there are twelve choices. I'd own each one for a month and then when the '73s came out I'd have to get a '73 something.
  13. Looking in the comments, it is a one-owner car, and it has 35-year old glass pack mufflers!
  14. Except they need sales...
  15. Blue Bird?
  16. 1964 Mercury Comet Cyclone, 289/4 speed.
  17. I just read where the Spark has more measurable interior room than a Ford Fiesta. And a comment by a 6', 200lb guy that bought a pink automatic for his wife, she loves it, and he wants to get himself a manual. Not sure what color. Maybe white, silver, red, denim blue, or Black Granite? I want to see the Lemonade ones.
  18. 2014!
  19. I would think with an iQ, that 2-inch wheelbase would be a punisher over tar strips and the like. I just picture it bucking down the road like those horsey rides that take a quarter in front of WalMart.
  20. After some gentle cattle prodding, I've come to realize that we need a September Car Spotters thread up in herr! So, let's wind down our summer with a nice munt of cool evening spots of new, old, or just plain unusual vehicle spottings!
  21. Available, or MANDATORY? This is not a free country. A 2.5 Regal should be the base... SANS eek-assist.
  22. Why do I feel like the varying wheel offsets should be a clue?
