1. Yeah Moltie, "LANKester" is how we say the name of our town.
2. Locals get annoyed when outsiders say LANcaster instead of the proper LANCaster. From what I understand, locals say "NAWLINS" instead of "New Orleens". So when Chevrolet invents the most popular fullsize family sedan in history, I defer to their "locality" and say "imPALuh".
3. My glasses need cleaned.
4. Yup, that's a later one.
5. How ironic, since there were many more Epsilon I cars...
6. You're honestly putting them in with GM and Toyota? These playboy amateurs? Any problem with these kit cars is amplified because of who they are, OF COURSE they need to react quicker... plus there is a miniscule number of these things in the hands of fools customers, there is very little investigating needed to see if there is real trouble. No large sample to pull info from before considering a recall.
7. WEIRD. Out of all those sweet vehicles... I like the 1964 F250.
8. ...aka Captain Booyah. It's August 21st, 2012, and you're at least 25 years old. Enjoy yourself!
9. On styling, having seen the new one parked next to the old one on a dealer lot, I prefer the new one, all the way through until I get to the Camaro-inspired taillights, which I feel are not integrated well. The uplevel LED tails look cheesy when lit. I like the interior on the newer car as well. Yes, the back seat may be smaller than before, but that may not be a major factor for a lot of buyers who will likely use the front seat a lot more. A baby seat can still be installed back there, I'm sure. Equinox has tons of rear seat legroom. The e-Assist system is the elephant in the back seat here. It adds no value... in fact, it takes value OUT of the car, clearly. It is not a good system, and by forcing the buying public's hand by putting it out there before versions with simple, economical powertrains, confident brakes and decent trunk room, GM has imperiled their relatively weak position in a powerhouse market segment even further. As far as interior assembly quality, I wonder what the production date is on your test example. I'm guessing it is an extreme early-build car that's already been in the hands of some pretty unforgiving test drivers, plus it may have been taken apart after it left the factory by GM people for some such reason we may not be privy to. Examples on dealer lots now, for sale to the public, would be a fairer arbiter on interior assembly quality.
10. Ice Storm/light blue is listed for the MKZ. Not sure about Smoked Quartz, which appears to be a purply gray... is it perhaps Violet Gray, as on the 2012/13 Fiesta?
11. Eek-Assist is half-baked, ineffective and a blatant rip-off!
12. I do not believe I have heard a Buick 8 run before. And I couldn't have asked for a sweeter experience having my Buick 8 cherry popped. Simply the devil on wheels with a mechanical soul glowing crimson.
13. I am not an expert on financing, but my mom traded her leased Cube and leased a 2012 Soul, with excellent equity she was able to keep her payments really low. Not sure how she got out of the lease early, and I even forget how early it was. I am scared of leases because I want freedom. Freedom to modify my ride and freedom to cut the ownership experience as short as my ridiculous whims allow.
14. Ban this junk, good grief.
15. Gotta be a Dodge Polara. Mopar built some of the most feared police cars known to man back then.
16. Speaking of Old Skool, I am mad that I won't be able to play my 8 track tapes CDs if I go through with this plan. I don't have a portable music device, why should I buy one just to control the music in my car? Good thing I have a favorite local radio station. I would just have to keep up the XM subscription for traveling, I guess. And yes sir, anything less than the 17 inchers really do no justice to the Sonic's buff little body, it's like working out everything but your legs.

18. Holy boob jobs, Batman, that is one WICKED Buford! And I am pleased with the Sweepspear trace down the side.

While I imagine computer animation to be difficult, I hope with all my heart that this is a poorly realized depiction of the real thing. Kudos to the artist, of course, for going off of grainy spyshots.
20. I'm hoping this new 2.5 is an all-around nice engine, as it is ideal as a base motor for the new Colorado/Canyon.
21. When I posted this, I could see the video window normally. Now when I read Balthy's (correct!) comment, it looks like gibberish up there. Can everyone see the YouTube vid window OK?
22. Prolly an air ratchet to unbolt the cab and bed?
23.
After it was discovered that my mom's '69 Corvette had been stolen from a military man based down south, she went through several beaters ('61 Valiant and '64 Bonneville were the others), including a maroon '66 Mercury Monterey four-door hardtop, until she got back on her feet from the monetary loss a few years later and bought herself a new '72 Malibu.

24. As ever, if this were to happen, I would do my best to ensure that the down payment is enough to keep me from being "upside down" in resale. Yes, I have quibbles about my Patriot, but then again, every vehicle built, even an R-R Phantom, has compromises if one looks hard enough. They are simply excuses to mask a bit of boredom. Automotive ADD, indeed! Every vehicle is engineered to a purpose. Jeep has its purpose in the Patriot. Chevrolet has its purpose in the Sonic and Silverado. There can be no vehicle that suits an owner's every want or need at every given time.
