  1. Call me cynical, but I mostly think of these sort of events as deliberate.
  2. Those are stock LTZ rims.
  3. Yup, that bumper cover matches the one on Jalopnik's rendering for the Corvette C7 that was posted over there a good number of moons ago...
  4. I temporarily forgot as well... Ford uses Ecoboost for their so-called verdant motors.
  5. Why you gotta pick on the little Rambler? It's a simple box with a 2013 Fusion grille.
  6. lt1george, thank you sir! That green rod is pretty SWEET. hyper, thanks fer the Sonic pic.
  7. Yeah, clete, the 2nd-gen Corvair is a timeless beauty, the first-gen is on par with its contemporaries, just not a knock-out like the 2nd-gen car.
  8. Saw a kid on a scooter, hot rodded, with the rear wheel way out back. wtf.
  9. I'm guessing it was the Sonic Z-Spec you sawr, which we have seen. The Cruze setup sounds like something that is less well-known. I'd like to find a pic of that one somewhere.
  10. Corvair, followed by Tempest.
  11. "I can take a photo of the back pack they gave me is you want?" Nah, s'ok. Thanks!
  12. This thread is worthless without pics. I need a picture of the Sonic and Cruze.
  13. Oh Jeez a blue PintNO. Send it to the glue factory!
  14. Girl AND her mother need to go in the kitchen and make me a sandwich.
  15. Mostly cloudy and cooler today, so they've ascended a bit. Need rain!
  16. First thing I thought, too. Only it looks high and narrow in comparison.
  17. Dumbass. That's NOT how you play lawn darts.
  18. Yes, there are plenty of car crush videos featuring impounded street racers. I even sawr a '59 Buick 4-door hardtop get crushed by a couple of too-gleeful junkyard dudes (they say they had it for sale a good while but sawr no interest). As far as the IS in this vid goes, i have found no definitive answer on why it was thankfully destroyed. Some say street racer, others say show car. Not sure what to believe, there is more than one vid with the same car over there @ YT.
  19. Quality McMansion construction right dere...
  20. Hyundai/Kia styling has come ahead lightyears since the beginning here in the US. They have some good looking products. They seem to have hired some good people in key positions. But I still feel concerned that something might be missing in some areas of engineering. Perhaps it is brand snobbery, but some of the other reviews I've read seem to bear this out. Product development has moved along at a fast clip, but some important details are lacking. It's like uneven but rapid evolution. imo.
  21. Thanks fer showin' up and puttin' this issue to bed. I am officially Tuckered out now. Thought something was odd when he said he had to modify some of the body panels.
  22. According to the video, it was the real thing, never finished by the factory. The top mechanism was factory, but there was apparently rust to contend with and some fabrication had to be done for some of the body panels.
  23. Still not Tuckered out yet... what a beauty!
  24. Here's another vid. Car's a little different here, need an historian to fill me in on why.
