  1. MSRP on a Mitsu product is only so you can tell your friends how much it cost. It can prolly be bought for like $26k.
  2. Kalitta Taurus OMG
  3. If I were her, I'd get my freak on and go in there and kick some car salesman ass.
  4. I always sort of thought of Ohio as high in the middle and round on both ends./Warner Bros.
  5. I think David Bowie has two different color eyeballs. We'll have to ask Mick Jagger.
  6. See wut I mean? Too damned confusing! Too damned forgettable! A real word is needed to render the clutter.
  7. I believe HFE was a tag put on Cobalts, wasn't it, with manual transmissions, special gearing and low rolling-resistance tires? Also on Silverados? Or am I cornfused?
  8. AWESOME spot, @dmin! Those cars are sooo interesting.
  9. I sawr the one at Gast in Strasburg, PA before they went out of business (the building now houses an Amish furniture store). Imposing, retro-futuristic machine that it is.
  10. Makes a strong argument for a winter beater. That Intrepid has become a Shadow of its former self.
  11. Yes I have decried the new Escape for looking like a Ford car instead of a Ford truck, although that opinion may be waning a bit. However, the Kinetic Design full-size van rendering above is surprisingly cool. The Transit Custom photograph at the article is cool enough. This Ford could singlehandedly revolutionize the fullsize van market in the US (and it might have to with that ugly-ass Fiat/Ram monstrosity coming), if it shows up looking like that. I've gotta hand it to Ford, they know what they're doing with trucks... now where's our new compact pickup truck?
  12. Appears to be appropriately massive. A shortbed, regular cab 2WD or 4X4 Z71 should be hawt.
  13. I think there are too many alphanumeric vehicular descriptors out there as it is. I say keep Aero as your verdant trim, it's more memorable and less easily confused with the competition's weenie cars.
  14. I am totally smitten by that little hottie, the Opel Adam, after seeing the Opel press photos and two videos showing the car in motion. The Chevrolet Spark is a hideous, cheap little POS compared to this sexy little guy. AND it's a 3-door! tangent/You know, that's what the people voted for when they chose the Beat a few years ago in the GM contest asking people to choose among 3 Chevy minicar concepts. Then GM pulls an old-school "bait and switch" by bringing the 5-door Spark to production./tangent Apparently the Adam is a bit shorter but wider than a MINI Cooper, with up to 99 horsepower out of a choice of three 4 cylinder engines. I love the detailing on this car, especially around the roof. Makes the Fiat 500 look a bit inadequate, imo. The interior's nice, too. But they won't bring it here and sell it out of a hip corner of a Buick showroom. Noooo... who buys MINI and Fiat? No one... right?
  15. Still a fascinating story, imo. I'd like to find some close-up photos or video of the car as it sits now. I did see a vid on YouTube that showed the guy using the chemical rust remover, but the vid wasn't really satisfactory, imo.
  16. Hilarious. Where was this at? Here in Lancaster. He had aluminum rims on it. I was laughin'.
  17. Looks good so far. Clearly bigger than current. I'm glad it has some sort of deck length, at least. The taillights look like they're faired in tight, like the last-gen Eldorado. I am hoping for a continuation of the current, mini-fin blade style Cadillac lights. I know they're dummies on the prototype. Interesting to see the grille backing before the chrome overlay is attached, you can really see the actual air intake part of the grille.
  18. That Nova body line running over the rear wheel arch into the rear bumper is present on Impalas, '00-up. It's subtle on the Impys, as it is not outlined with chrome, but it is there.
  19. <p><strong>Good Lord. </strong></p> <p> </p> <p><br /> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/eM8Ss28zjcE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe><br /> </p>
  20. They sound like six angels sitting on clouds playing the harp in unison.
  21. I mean duh, they do not think taking it down means it will go away in the internet age.
  22. Cool.
  23. So there must be documentation somewhere showing the sedan that was converted into a goodlooking convertible. Which build number was the donor car? Was it mentioned in the video I posted? Why would a sane person "destroy" a precious Tucker when it could be verified a fake? Not saying it's not fake, I just think it would have been worth so much more restored to original condition. I mean they had to pay more for it than it is worth now.
