  1. Looks like some sort of beetle, a jewel-like insect. Very interesting to see it in motion.
  2. Yup Mr. Jett, hope so. Mr. dfelt.. too late, I already took it to the "household hazardous waste" drop-off at my local waste authoritay. Locked eyes a couple of times with the cute attendant.
  3. Oh. To each his own, I spose. They can be good, if made with the right fish.
  4. These little buggies stand out. I am seeing so many of them now in my urrea. Today while looking at an '02 S-10, a tan base model zipped by, looking dandy.
  5. This Lexus was a SEMA show car, I believe. Illegal to drive on public roads, so this fate befalls them.
  6. Yes, a show car. But still cool.
  7. Linkun
  8. Dude used to own a red Chrysler 300, but he totalled it, so he built this out of some leftover stuff he found around the house, is that how it happened?
  9. See how black steelies and dog dishes look so good on it? Nice looking truck. America.
  10. Thanks dfelt. Yes, I have considered relocating back to Maryland, but all my family's here. It's just a pain in the butt to be in this situation. I know I'm not alone, I've seen the news, but wow, when it hits this close to home, it really makes a man think.
  11. Outlander Sport is updated some for 2013, right? I wish part of the update was a move to the 2.4L engine instead of the tiny 2.0.
  12. Thanks, Horse. I have an appointment to have it appraised today, and I am due to show it to the dealership I bought it from on Monday. If only I got this many calls for job interviews! This is the absolute worst time in like forever to be looking for work in my field in my area. Between the time of the announcement and our closing, all the vendors we deal with and insurance reps were saying Lancaster County shops are ghost towns... claims are down, and a number of claims that do go through are simply paid out, meaning people want the money and don't want to fix the car or they need the money and don't have their deductible. PLUS, summer has long been the traditional slow time for bodyshops in general, because of the good weather and busy schedules, people are not sliding around and/or they are putting off having a dent fixed due to vacations, kids' summer activities, etc. SIGH... I made the best money of my life between February and May. I'm thankful I was able to do that and put some away.
  13. Is Mitsu only struggling in the US, though? Or is this a worldwide problem?
  14. Way better looking than the 500L. Reminds me of the Mokka/Encore/Trax. Hope a Jeep based on this looks, AND ACTS, Jeepy.
  15. I do like that picture.
  16. Well, he wasn't using it anyway... may as well cut it off.
  17. I guess now I have no stake in it, but the dealership I recently separated from has a deal in the works to purchase a Mitsubishi franchise from another local dealer group. Good luck with that.
  18. What, I'm mystified!
  19. I was at the grocery store and sawr a maroon Focus sedan, a few years old, with two bumper stickers, I was hoping someone, somewhere, may have an idear what they mean: one was a strip, about a foot wide and less than an inch tall, with all the colors of the rainbow. The other was white lettering on a green background, with a word I've been unable to find in Webster's: "VAGINATARIAN". I'm usually pretty good with words, but this has me stumped. Any idears?
  20. Thanks for the generous offers, Chris. It's much appreciated. Thanks, cremazie and uncle dave.
  21. Well I was going to go ahead with one of the links you guys helped me with, but then the old monitor died completely. So I went to Staples this morning and purchased an AOC e2450Swd 24" wide screen LED monitor, on sale for $139.99 from $179.99. I've never heard of the brand, so I went and bought the warranty. It plugs in to the computer with the blue isosceles trapezoidal plug with screws, whichever one that is. This thing is HUGE. I hope it's reliable. Thanks for the help, everyone.
  22. No issues to report after nearly 8 months and 5300 miles. Love this vehicle. But with sadness and a bit of bitterness, I have listed my Patriot on Craigslist for sale due to my employment situation. I've been out of work for a month, and summer is the slowest time of year for bodyshops, so nobody in my area is hiring at this point. My UC is at nearly half my last take-home pay, so any relief in fixed expenses is a necessity right now. I am looking for something reliable that I can purchase outright.
  23. What does the icon on the computer for one of those ports look like, a cactus?
  24. Silver BRZ that was parked out in back of the local dealership two weeks ago when I rode through, with a yellow "SOLD" tag on the wiper is still sitting in the same spot, tag faded from the sun. They also got in a dark gray one. New 2013 Elantra GT with Style package. Gotta say, it's a very spiffy looking machine in all black, with a Euro look to it. The fish grille is at its least offensive in this model, imo. I might try one if I were in a position. I still wish for a new version of the wagon though.
