  1. Does anyone know where I can find out if a 245/75R16 tire on a 16x7 Cragar Soft 8 rim with 4" rearspacing will fit on a Chevy Colorado Z85 4X4? I've been to the bespoke forums. Thanks.
  2. Retina-searing yellow Hyundai Veloster on dealer lot. Oshawa Regals are on the lots, too, complete with Ventiports! Yay!
  3. AT LEAST the E-class is a world-class luxury car platform... not a FWD mass market platform.
  4. The photos of the production interior look fine to me, and it is no Cadillac. It's not swoopy, it's trucky looking *gasp*. And plastic cladding costs money, I don't see any on the Thai truck in the photo.
  5. Without GM's G80 locker, yup. I see Ford has an electronic locker on their F-150 for 2012, I'd like to see a demo vid of that and see how it compares to the GM unit. There are several YouTube videos showing the excellent traction of the Subaru system. If anyone wants a crossover and needs real all-weather traction, Subaru is the name of the game, I think.
  6. Whoa GMC Granite inspirer. Cooler than the Spark because it looks natural as a 5-door. The Spark is a bait-and-switch dirty trick by Chevrolet... people voted for the Beat, which was a 3-door... the Spark, a 5-door sell-out.
  7. More jovial looking than the sleeeeepy Prius and Prius people mover thingy.
  8. parody
  9. Perhaps it is time for the Cheyenne name to come back, as I don't see a letter-number combination returning, with Silverado being such a strong nameplate, it would not make sense for the smaller truck to be an S-10 or any such. I like what I'm hearing so far. A regular cab 4X4 with diesel and 6 speed manual, power windows/locks/mirrors/keyless entry, CD player, G80 rear end, aluminum wheels and meaty all-terrain tires is what I aspire to. Don't want or need any electrification in the powertrain, no sir. And it must be priced affordably.
  10. That is a gorgeous cat, for sure.
  11. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8nd4t6PduOs?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> This is an interesting demonstration. I'd like to see the Equinox/Terrain go through this test.
  12. Which begs the question... why go to the trouble of installing the system in this model? I can see maybe the SRX, CTS and ATS... but not the Xtra Too Skinny.
  13. Subaru finally has a configurator page up on their site for the 2012 Impreza. If you're bored or the least bit curious, have at it. Two-tone is available on the Sport Premium 5-door, just like the Outback Sport of yore. That's the one I configured, in dark gray monochrome with upgraded Kicker speakers, all-weather floor mats and auto-dim mirror with compass... $21,900+. Not too bad.
  14. I am really curious how those two very divergent groups will intersect in this car. Old folks do not like to fiddle with stuff. If the salespeople know their product, maybe they can set the system for customers so they can just DRIVE the thing.
  15. ...and I definitely need some mental peace. Was talking to my cousin today, she started off with a new Cherokee in the early 90s, bought an '02 Liberty and traded that on a '10 Liberty with SkySlider roof. She loves the solid feel behind the wheel of a Jeep, but with gas the way it is (she's getting 18 mpg with hers), she says I will not like the gas mileage. Prolly true, although 18 is better than my '10 Colorado. So my hotness has cooled off some. I wish Jeep had seen fit to put the new V6 in the Liberty with a 6-speed auto, but with it being a lame duck, I guess I understand why they dint. I just hope the next generation isn't ruined. Now the Focus AllRoad... errr... Escape is starting to grow on me, after my initial shock and distaste has worn off, and that isn't on the lots until summer, so I got time to chill. The SE trim looks very decent, according to the galleries I've perused, and that 237 hp turbo 4 with a real 6-speed auto sounds like a great combo. Am I going soft in the noggin?
  16. Miata competitor?
  17. A new 4-door white Range Rover Evoque. Looks great, I wonder if it's any good. And a yellow Valiant 2-door in bright yellow, with narrowed rear end and wide tires with skinnys on the front, circa 1964.
  18. I guess this means nobody liked anything from this year's L.A. show. Oh well.
  19. Is there a video demonstration of Cadillac's system somebody can post here, or link to?
  20. Thanks for this latest photo set. It looks like you're living the dream of many a Chevy person.
  21. I'm going to go with the 2013 Ford Mustang GT. With some very nice style upgrades and more horsepower out of the 5.0, it strikes the perfect note of ponycar timbre without going over the top like the GT500.
  22. These kids today... they think they invented something cool by painting their hoods, roof and decklids black. They don't know nothin'.
  23. Well then, the P2 platform was involving smaller cars, the S60 is not very big.
